Sean and Ashley's Wedding

Ashley Alto and Sean Vidal's was the first of the two weddings that were celebrated in Island Paradise that winter.

Everybody in the island attended the ceremony, which was carried out at the Spa's gardens. Among the guests was, of course, Daniel, who look happy at all.

Ashley's mother, Lopita, on the other hand, looked ecstatic. Her daughter had finally got married, what a joy!

Ashley and Sean pronnounced their vows of love and fidelity.

They exchanged rings.

And in the end they sealed their promises with a tender kiss.

Now they're united for life.

What was Sean thinking, or should we say, Time who was he thinking of?

Time to cut the wedding cake, among the guests were as well Ashley's best friends: Jessica, Sarah and Romina.

Ashley is so excited, Daniel preferred to walk away for a while.

Sean cut out the first piece.

As Daniel wasn't very talkative, Gloria decided to settle an unfinished business.

  

That "business" was called Sarah Parks. Gloria went to ask her if it was true that she had Daniel's daughter. Sarah told her she had nothing to worry about.

"Daniel and I have an agreement, mi daughter won't be a nuisance for you".

"I surely hope so", Gloria replied. 

Jessica and Ashley stepped aside, hoping there wouldn't be any trouble. Thankfully, it all remained a friendly conversation.

 

Meanwhile, Daniel approached Sean to congratulate him.

"I wish you and Ashley all the happiness. Take good care of her, please".

"You don't need to ask me that".

"Promise me you'll be happy".

"We'll try".

That was goodbye for them, it starts a new stage in Sean and Daniel's lives... without each other.

Sean and Ashley Got Engaged Too

As soon as he knew that Jessica and Royce would marry soon, Sean cleared up his doubts and he proposed to Ashley too.

Ashley wasn't quite sure cause he knew what were Sean's true feelings, and she still felt something for Skip, but she accepted the proposal for the sake of her daughter.

The proposal wasn't glamorous at all. Sean popped the question before going to bed, she said yes, they sealed their commitment with a kiss and went to sleep. Everything seems to be alright now, but Sean still had something to do...

The next evening he went to see Daniel, and after months of not speaking to him, he apologized and announced his engagement to him.

"So you and Ashley are getting married".

"Yep".

"Are you sure that's what you want, Sean?"

"You married Gloria, didn't you'"

"Sean..."

"You I didn't give a damn about Gloria", Sean continued "But what I feel for you will never beat what you feel for her, so I will get married with Ash and we won't mention this ever again".

"Does that mean that...?"

"It means we're back as friends, but that's it".

"Sean, I..."

"I expect to see you at my wedding. Will you attend, Danny?"

"I'll be there, don't worry".

"Did you talk to Daniel?"

"Yes, everything's fine".

"Did you tell him that...?"

"I told him I forgave him for marrying Gloria, but that we will be just friends from now on".

"Did he get it?"

"I hope so".

"Good".

It was done, Sean was at peace now, he would be able to start his new life with Ashley, but--  would he be able to forget Daniel?

Sing-A-Gram for Sean Vidal!

Delivering sing-a-grams isn't Daniel's favorite activity, but it ocurred to him that delivering one to Sean Vidal would be a good opportunity to get his forgivness and restore their friendship.

So he put all his enthusiasm in doing it right, and Sean was delighted at the beginning, but then... 

Oops! Something went terribly wrong and, just like some other times, Daniel slipped and fell on the floor.

For a second, Sean seemed worried.

"Sheesh, Danny, are you alright?"

"I think so - Come on, what are you waiting for, silly? Help me stand up".

Sean didn't like Daniel's arrogant tone at all.

"If you think I'm going to forget what happened just because you fell while you sang, you're dead wrong".

That was it, Sean refused to talk to Daniel and got in the house, leaving him out there. So much for trying to rescue Sean's friendship.

"Anyway, the opportunity will come to talk to him, or so I hope. I miss you so much, Sean".

Daniel, Sean and Gloria Graduate From University

When Gloria returned to the University, she asked Daniel to forgive her again.

Daniel accepted her back on one condition: that she would never ever date Sean again. Gloria talked to Sean about it, he had no other choice but to agree. Anyway, at this point, he was practically engaged with Ashley.

Daniel and Gloria restarted their romance, more in love than ever.

Months later, Daniel fullfilled the promise he had made to his parents and graduated with honors.

He got his degree in Fine Arts.

Sean managed to graduate too.

He and Gloria had made their best efforts to catch up with their credits and managed to graduate the same day Daniel did.

But during the ceremony, Daniel and Sean barely spoke to each other.

When the time came to return to Island Paradise, because of how awkward the situation was, Gloria preferred to travel alone in her car.

Daniel and Sean traveled together but did not speak to each other along the way either.

Something was broken between them two. Daniel tried to fix it, but Sean was very resented. It would take him a while to forget Daniel, maybe he would never forgive him.

Daniel's First Years in Uni

The first year at the University everything went well for Daniel and his inseparable friend Sean Vidal. Daniel was dating Gloria Goth, and Sean, Ashley Alto.

But during the second year, problems began to arise between the two, for no simple reason. 

On day in the heat of the moment, it ocurred to them, as an experiment, and with everybody's consent, to switch girlfriends. Sean would started dating Gloria, and Daniel would go  out with Ashley. This was supposed to happen only for a while, but Sean and Gloria began to feel attracted to each other which made Daniel angry.

It wasn't nice for Ashley ither to see Sean and Gloria fall in love, much less at that moment and with the secret she was keeping.

At the end of the trimester, Ashley confessed to Daniel that she was pregnant with Sean's baby. This made Daniel even more angry, and things between he and Sean got even more complicated, putting their life long friendship at risk.

Sean and Ashley returned to Island Paradise to have their baby girl. Gloria left with them, thinking she could get Sean back, but he wasn't in the mood for romance. He had lost his third University year, and his relationship with Ashley was a disaster.

Meanwhile, at Uni, Daniel was ble to relax and do various things, among them, meeting new friends.

He was also dedicated to partying, drinking and throwing parties that lasted until the early hours of the morning. It was during that time that he made his biggest mistake...

He began dating Saraha, his brother Simon's ex girlfriend, who claimed to be in love with him but she was only looking for revenge.

Daniel and Sarah's relationship lasted the entire third year, which Daniel spent mostly partying. His grades and school performance drop to their lowest level.

During those noisy parties, Sarah call him to tell him she was pregnant. He didn't believe her, hung up on her and ignored all of her text messages from that moment on. Something he would regret later. By the way, that afternoon the police interrupted the party, arrested some of the guests and reported Daniel with his parents. It was a embarrassing!

Daniel apologized and promised his parents that the next year -the last of his career- he would improve his grades and would graduate with honors, but he didn't say a word about Sarah.

When he returned to Island Paradise, Gloria asked for his forgiveness and asked her to become boyfriend and girlfriend again, but Daniel rejected her, cause he was still resentful of her and Sean, to whom he no longer even spoke.

The next year, the three of them went back to the Universidad. Daniel to graduate, Sean and Gloria to make up for the year they had lost. Ashley stayed home to take care of her baby girl.
