André is the one who might still need his mother, or feel abandoned if Jeannine concentrates too much on the twins.

Nah, André is not jealous at all, he has shown everyone that he is no longer a baby and that he is a very independent child.

That is, as long as dinner, especially his favorite, grilled cheese sandwich, is ready on time. That's how simple André's life is - for now.

"Bravo, André, way to go!" exclaimed Tony to the applause of the (3) guests.

The celebration is not over yet, now Jeannine leaves André on the floor because it's time to grow.

And here he goes...

There you go. André has grown into a handsome boy - watch out, Island Paradise girls!

It's time to split the cake, but Brad is angry that it has fallen to Phillip Alto to take care of his half-siblings, again Meredith didn't come, and Phillip is very annoying.

Anyway, André goes to get his piece of cake. He doesn't look very happy, perhaps because he knows that starting tomorrow he will have to go to school like all the big kids. No more staying at home playing with mom and his siblings. *Sigh

After the party, André collapsed, as did the rest of the family.

After the party, André was exhausted, as was the rest of the family.

And now, who could this blonde be? Any clues? 😉

"Okay André, here we go. One, two..."

André gets ready and...

"Three!"
André blows with all his might, (helped by his mother, of course).

"Genial, André!"
"¡Lo lograste!", exclaman en turno Bradley y Jean.

It's André's birthday!

André is ready to blow out the candles, in his mother’s arms, while his brother Jean cheers.

Tony and Bradley join the celebration.

André is more than ready.

Before going down to the pool, Jeannine spent a few moments with André, who also claimed her presence before his nap. Jeannine was happy to hear that he had learned to walk, congratulated him and the two celebrated together.

Why is André getting so much attention from his parents? Aren't his younger siblings the ones who need more care? Maybe, but it was important for André to complete his learning as soon as possible since it will soon be his birthday. In a few more days he will no longer be a toddler. Ah, they grow up so fast!

After changing clothes, Tony returned to his role as a dad and spent time with his young children. He first tried to teach Marlene to walk, but she doesn't seem to be interested in that now. Maybe it's too soon.

André is older and a bit behind in his learning, thanks to his parents' constant travels. But the time has come to catch up and he seems to be doing well.
"Come on, André, it's just a few steps, you can do it...", Tony encouraged him.

André put his all into it, and is quite stubborn (who knows who he resembles 🤔), and reached his goal. Marlene seems pleased with her brother's achievement.

"That's it, champ, you got it!" Tony exclaimed, lifting him up in his arms. André finally learned to walk!

It's a great day for André, Tony is happy, Marlene? Well, she has a short attention span, and now she's more interested in what's going on in the TV series.

At dinnertime, the boys were briefed on their return trip to Champs Les Sims, which seemed a bit sudden to both of them, but Jean took it rather better than Bradley.

And just when they are going to need her the most, Zoe Allston, the nanny decides to quit.
"Oh, but don't worry Mr. Langerak," said Zoe I already have my replacement, my friend Meredith will be here in a little while to babysit André, Henri and Marlene."
(Phew, thank goodness!)

Tony immediately approved the new nanny. It was urgent for someone to take care of the children during his trip and there was no time to ask for letters of recommendation and such things. Of course, he knows he can also count on Jean and Brad, but they are not "experts" on children, and besides, they must devote themselves to their homework if they want to finish high school and go to college. Let's let someone with experience like Meredith, Zoe's understudy, handle it.

Meredith made her appearance later that night. Bradley and Mer seem to like each other because they both blush constantly while near each other. Brad has never been much of a social butterfly, but he makes Meredith a lot of conversation. They definitely like each other. Hopefully it won't be a problem to leave them alone?

As they will soon be away from home for several days, Tony and Jeannine decided to spend some quality time with their little ones.

After the children went to bed, and while Jeannine was relaxing by the pool, Tony took the opportunity to finish his latest painting. The very 'special' subject managed to awaken Jeannine's restlessness.

He knows Tony has met all kinds of women: athletes, actresses, even mermaids! But a lime green girl? What's she supposed to be, a plant, an alien? God only knows.

He says it's just someone from his imagination, someone he has seen "in his dreams", a character from his novels.
"So an alien, huh? Well, she looks pretty human to me! Whoever she is, she's certainly beautiful and Tony has taken great care to paint her. Gosh... is it normal to be jealous of a painting? Maybe Jeannine is giving it too much importance, time to go to sleep!

Bradley and Jean Langerak

And since we're talking about Island Paradise, here we have Bradley and Jean, the two Tony Langerak's teen children. Bradley (above) is the son of Cassandra Steele; and Jean (below) is the son of Jeannine Lambert (Tony's fourth wife). Bradley recently came to live with his dad's new family, and it seems like he got along well with Jean. Rumor has it they'll go to the University together when the moment comes, and they will possibly go on some world adventures together as well, 'cause they both aspire to become explorers like their father. (Good luck, guys!)

Speaking about Tony, here we see him with his three smaller children: André (with him); and the twins, Henri (right) and Marlene (left). All of them Jeannine and Tony's children, Jean's siblings and Bradley's half siblings. The Langeraks are a big family, you know! ;)

Here is a memory of the day Bradley went to live with his father's new family, and of how he came to meet his half brother Jean.

Tony and Jeannine: Happily Ever After?

Tony and Jeannine started their peaceful life together alternating their place of residence, sometimes they stayed at Tony's new house, others at Villa Le Rose, and others at the houseboat which was the place where Tony spent most of his time due to his work as a diver. Jeannine could accompany him there while Jean was at school.

Their first months together went by uneventful. Tony had left his past behind, he didn't drink anymore and was dedicated to his work, his hobbies and his trips. Everything seemed in order... until Jeannine broke him the unexpected news: she was expecting a baby. What a surprise!

At the beginning he didn't know what to say. It was not that he didn't want another baby, after all he was a family man like all the Langeraks, but after Simon, Daniel, Jessica, Bradley, Jean, Dorian (Aislara's son), Kathy (Kalamanu's daughter) and Nancy (Scarlet's daughter), this would be his ninth child! Sure, he was a responsible man, but this wasn't a minor matter, he'll need to digest it, so he asked her for some time to think.

"You don't have to think anything, I'm not asking for anything. I raised Jean on my own, I can do the same with this child", Jeannine told him.
"And I never said I'll leave you alone, I just need time to come out with a plan", Tony answered.

"Okay, I just hope it will be soon, we don't have much time".
True, Jeannine's pregnancy was far along, but she had kept quiet for fear that Tony would be scared and leave again.

Luckily for her, Tony wasn't scare, and that same night informed her of his decision:
"You don't have to worry about anything, dear, we'll get married right away".

Jeannine couldn't believe her ears. She and Tony would get married, at last, after so many years! That was without a doubt the happiest day of her life.

Back at home, during dinner, Tony told Jean that he and Jeannine would get married after the baby was born. Jean liked these news, but - his parents, married at last? He wouldn't believe it until he saw it with his own eyes.

Shortly after, his brother André was born. Jeannine postponed the wedding to take care of him while he was baby, but when André became a toddler, it was Jean who took care of his little brother so their parents could organize the wedding.

After school and after doing his homework, Jean was devoted to attend to André. He fed him, bathed him and read him stories before going to bed. It was him who taught André to walk too. Fortunately for everyone, the two boys got along wonderfully.

And the long awaited wedding day arrived...

"Jeannine, receive this ring as a sign of my love, and the start of our new life together".

"Tony, receive this ring as a sign of my love..."
Tony looked with amazement at the ring on his finger. This was his fourth marriage, he hoped with all his heart it would be the last.

Just in case, he and Jeannine married in a private ceremony and without telling anything to anybody, until they were sure that everything was going well in their marriage.

But even without guests it was a happy day, filled with love for the two of them, They were together for life, and they had a beautiful family. What could go wrong?

And why think about it? This was the moment Jeannine had waited for all her life. She'd live it at the fullest without thinking about the future.

When the time came to cut the cake, Tony didn't seem to be there. What could he be thinking about? Or should we say who.

Jeannine knew well who. Tony was naturally thinking of Cassandra. He had broke up with her, yes, but he couldn't help but to ask himself, what would she think if she knew he had married Jeannine? And his children, Simon, Daniel, Jessica and Brad? Should he have told them?

Meanwhile, Jeannine concern was a different one: How long will this happiness last? Will it be forever?

"Will he stay with me to raise André together? Or will I have to raise him on my own like it happened with Jean?"

Enought with the concerns, it was their wedding day! They should enjoy and think positive. Celebrate!

But it was hard with how pensive Tony looked.
"Tony, is everything okay?"
"Yeah, all is fine, I was just - thinking about the kids, maybe I should've told them".
"Do you want to call them to invite them? It's still early and we have plenty of cake".
Tony knew Simon, Daniel and Jessica couldn't stand Jeannine, cause they blamed her for their parents separation. They wouldn't take the news well, and he didn't want to ruin Jeannine's happiness.
"No, it's fine, I'll tell them when we return from our honeymoon".

Jeannine thought that was a good idea, and they spent the rest of the afternoon making plans for their trip and for their new home. None of the two imagined at that moment all that was bound to happen in the days to come.
