Romina and Edwin's Birthdays

It's Romina's birthday, but it's also her brother Edwin's. Here we see him blowin out the candles helped by his mom, Alexandra, while he's cheered up by his dad, Cornell.

It's time to grow up.

Now Edwin is a boy.

Even Butch bot a piece of cake.

It's Romina's turn to blow out the candles on her own cake.

She's also cheered up by her parents.

Romina makes a wish and...

She blows out all the candles at once.

The change begins...

One turn and...

Romina is already a young adult, she can go with her cousin Jessica and her besties to the University now.

A Bit More About the Langeraks

Like I already mentioned, Romina attended her Prom dance, it didn't go too well, though. First, Romina didn't find a date who to go to the dance with. Second, during the party she was involved in a brawl. Third, she stayed beyond her curfew and the police tried to detain her, but she managed to escape.

She got on her jet ski and rode home.

It was a long way to the other side of the island, but like I said, she managed to get away.

And she got home on time to wish her mom a happy birthday and enjoy cake with her and her father before gooing to sleep. Phew, what a scare!

The celebration ended very late, since Romina started telling her parents about all her adventures at the dance, and about her movie-like escape.

 Finally, as everybody was tired, they headed off to sleep.

 Except for Alexandra, who had to wait for Edwin to get sleepy.

In the morning, Cornell is ready to start his day by preparing a good breakfast. Alexandra and Edwin are still asleep, she's exhausted of course.

Romina is getting ready to go to school, but not before playing with her beloved Butch.

By the way, Romina will become a young adult soon, Por cierto, Romina pronto se convertirá en joven adulta, she will most likely go to the University to pursue a career like some of her cousins. And that's what has happened with the Langeraks so far.

Alexandra's Birthday

To continue with the wave of birthdays (I have fallen behind with some families in this aging thing), jecimientos), this time it was Alexandra's turn to become an adult. She was alone with Cornell casue Romina had left for her prom and Edwin was already sleeping.

Only Butch could be there.

By the way it was his birthday too.

Alexandra, in the meantime... 

"Ok, so I'm an adult already..."

"Hmm, what should I ask for as a gift, a sports car or a diamond necklace, I can't decide...  Wait, I think I'm having a mid-life crisis!

But in the end, the best gift for Alexandra was, as always, Cornell's company and his passionate kiss.

"Happy Birthday, dear".

"Thank you, my love".

 Of course, she hasn't forgotten about the other presents, but those can come later".

Edwin's Birthday and Meeting With Grandparents

Cornell and Alexandra organized a small family gathering to celebrate Edwin's birthday and to welcome Cornell's parents Robert and Camille too.

It was a great joy to see them again, especially because Romina had almost forgotten how her grandparents looked like.

The last time they had seen them had been during a vacation in Hidden Springs.

Robert and Camille were so happy to see the family reunited! 

Camille loved Cornell's new home and wanted to capture the moment, taking pictures of everything and everyone.

And the time came for the celebration...

Edwin was going to become an infant.

Okay! Now little Edwin is waiting for his cake to be served.

The party is over, the grandparents are leaving. 

"Great party, son. I had a blast. And your house is amazing!" Robert exclaimed.

 "Bob, put on your coat, it's cold outside", Camille intervened.

"Nah, I'm good. Hidden Springs was cold, this is nothing!"

After a long goodbye, both of them left in Robert's new boat.

It was a modest party but it was so much fun. Almost everybody had left, so Alexandra could sit down and enjoy a little more cake. Meanwhile, Alfonso, Romina's high school friend, who is a babysitter in addition, kindly took care of Edwin for her.

Cornell is super sleepy... 

 

So is Butch, the family pet.

He was so tired that he fell asleep next to his puddle. Ew, lol.

It was pretty late, Romina helped putting Edwin to bed. Alfonso was still there, half asleep.

He had stayed long after everybody had left to help with the dishes and entertain Edwin.

"That was kind of you, thank you, Al. I don't know what we would have done without your help", 

"It was nothing, good night, see you tomorrow, Mina".

Cornell had already gone to bed .

Alexandra stayed awake until Edwin fell asleep too.

Then, exhausted, she headed for her bedroom. On her way she found Romina, she looked very tired too.

"Romina, go to sleep already, you have school tomorrow".

"I'm coming, mom. Good night, have a good rest".

"You too, honey".

Romina fell asleep instantly

 Alexandra was happy to finally be able to rest... Oh, but what? Cornell is snoring? Well, whatever. Alex was so tired that she didn't even care, she fell asleep at the instant, too.

And peace returned to the Langeraks home.
