Aislara's Goodbye

Back in Island Paradise, Tony decided to be honest with Aislara. He confessed to her that he had mixed feeling about different things, and that he needed time to think what about what to do.

Aislara: Is this about Mia Azul?

Tony: No.

Aislara: Please, Tony, don't lie to me.

 

Tony: Alright, yes, it's about Mia, but only in part. In truth, this is rather about Cassandra. 

     Aislara: Cassandra, your ex wife? I thought that was finished.

     Tony: I thought so too, But when I was in Al Simhara, everything there reminded me of her: the house, the bedroom, the landscape, everything. And then I started to have doubts about my feelings for her.

     Aislara: Maybe you're just confused.

     Tony: I am, that's why I need time. It's unfair for you, I know, and I'm sorry. I never wanted this to happen, it wasn't my intention to hurt you. Please, forgive me.

Aislara understood him, but her heart broke in a thousand pieces.

 

Aislara: W-when do you want us to leave?

Tony: Oh, no, please, you and Dorian stay, I will  move to the houseboat.

Aislara: Thanks, but that house cost you millions, it wouldn't feel right to take it away from you. I rather stay here at the chalet.

Tony: Will you let me visit you?

Lara: Of course, Dorian is your child. And believe it or not, I still love you.

Tony: You believe it or not, I love you too.

Lara: (In tears) Yeah, sure.

Aislara didn't say more, that same night she packed her things, took her little child and left Tony's mansion.

Tony was alone again, but his loneliness wouldn't last long.

Tony's Trip to Egypt

After the birth of their son, Dorian, Tony and Aislara were happy for a while.

 

Tony couldn't complain, Aislara was not only a beautiful woman, but educated, kind and an excellent partner.

 But even though almost more than a year had passed, Tony still couldn't forget Mia. He thought about her all the time, especially when he was sailing or when he went diving.

So he made a decision: he'd travel somewhere to try to forget here and, in passing, to put his thoughts in order.

 

Tony traveled to Egypto in search of peace, but his vacation lot, the Pomegranate House, broguht him memories of his past with Cassandra, which made him feel depressed again.

Carried away by nostalgia, he wrote a letter to Cassandra, telling her how sad his life was since she'd been gone. But he didn't dare to send it to her.

He spent the rest of his retreat drinking and feeling sorry for himself, until he came to a conclusion: he had to put a halt to the spiral his life had become. And it would have to be immediately.
