Gloria Goth

 And... more of my random sims pics. Somehow I have to get rid of all the pics sitting in my Screenshots folder. ;) I'm posting this pics to remember my main characters and their stories. I'll be providing links too to posts with information about them, so new readers can get to know my sims.

This is Gloria Goth, she's Daniel Langerak's wife. (Daniel is Tony Langerak's second son). Gloria and Daniel got married not long ago. They still live in Island Paradise, although Daniel dreams of moving to Starlight Shores someday. They have two little daughters already, the twins Cristina and Monika.

Gloria used to be the cleaning girl at the Langerak's house, that's how she met Daniel, and after all his adventures with other girls, he ended falling in love with her. She went with him to the University, they both finished their corresponding careers and, as soon as they returned to Island Paradise, Daniel proposed marriage to her. Gloria is now in the Journalism career at which she's doing really well.

Jessica Returns to Al Simhara

On her next trip to Al Simhara, Jessica returned to the Pyramid of the Burning Sands to complete her ongoing adventure.

Just as she expected, the Flame Fruit plants had produced their fruits and were ready to be reaped.

Jessica didn't think twice and started to reap harvest them.

She just hade to take a few, but she decided to take them all, so could plant some at home.

When she finished she went straight to deliver them to her next contact, Mahmud Taymur.

"Your effort in this endeavor is to be commended, but perhaps we can put it to better use. MorcuCorp believes Helmi Hosni may have information on these relics they are looking for. Helmi Hosni knows about some sort of old book that may contain precious information that we need. Go get this information."

Jessica immediately headed for Helmi Hosni's house. But to get the information that Mahmud need, she had to befriend Helmi first.

"There's an ancient library, hidden in a house at the village, there you'll find a chest with the information you're looking for. I think you'll have to befriend the owners of the house in order to enter".

The Madboulis are friends with her father, so there would be no problem to enter the house and search for the secret library, but the night had almost fell and Jessica was feeling tired, so she'd return the next morning.

At the base camp she ran into her sister-in-law, Gloria Goth, who was there on vacation. Jessica and Gloria aren't the best of friends, but at least it was nice to see a friendly face. They both chatted for a while about family stuff.

Now to sleep, the adventure will continue tomorrow.

Sean and Ashley's Wedding

Ashley Alto and Sean Vidal's was the first of the two weddings that were celebrated in Island Paradise that winter.

Everybody in the island attended the ceremony, which was carried out at the Spa's gardens. Among the guests was, of course, Daniel, who look happy at all.

Ashley's mother, Lopita, on the other hand, looked ecstatic. Her daughter had finally got married, what a joy!

Ashley and Sean pronnounced their vows of love and fidelity.

They exchanged rings.

And in the end they sealed their promises with a tender kiss.

Now they're united for life.

What was Sean thinking, or should we say, Time who was he thinking of?

Time to cut the wedding cake, among the guests were as well Ashley's best friends: Jessica, Sarah and Romina.

Ashley is so excited, Daniel preferred to walk away for a while.

Sean cut out the first piece.

As Daniel wasn't very talkative, Gloria decided to settle an unfinished business.

  

That "business" was called Sarah Parks. Gloria went to ask her if it was true that she had Daniel's daughter. Sarah told her she had nothing to worry about.

"Daniel and I have an agreement, mi daughter won't be a nuisance for you".

"I surely hope so", Gloria replied. 

Jessica and Ashley stepped aside, hoping there wouldn't be any trouble. Thankfully, it all remained a friendly conversation.

 

Meanwhile, Daniel approached Sean to congratulate him.

"I wish you and Ashley all the happiness. Take good care of her, please".

"You don't need to ask me that".

"Promise me you'll be happy".

"We'll try".

That was goodbye for them, it starts a new stage in Sean and Daniel's lives... without each other.

Daniel's First Simfest

The first time Daniel participated as a singer in a Simfest. Tony, Aislara and Jessica attended his concert.

Of course, his wife Gloria was there too.

There wasn't a large audience but his performance was a success. Daniel knew by the comments of the park propietor and for the reviews the next morning.

Daniel got his first fan.

Daniel's New Life

Shortly after they got married, Gloria found out that she was expecting a baby.

Being a mom wasn't among her immediate plans, so this idea took his sleep away. Daniel, in contrast, slept peacefully and happy, thinking he could at last show his father that his marriage was serious and that he could be a responsible father just like his brother Simon.

Or almost like Simon, since, for his parents, there was no better couple, no better marriage, and no better family than Simon and Holly.

Gloria wasn't interested in competing with Holly Gabrielsun, but she did want to please Daniel, so she made all what she could to be a good wife and mother. But her pregancy wasn't any comfortable for her, considering she was expecting twins.

Daniel worked hard preparing the babies' room, and when his twin daughters arrived, everything was ready.

Daniel went to see his father to tell him that his granddaughters had been born. Tony was so excited that he forgot his anger and forgave Daniel. The family was united again.

These is how the Langerak twins look currently: she's Cristina.

And this is her twin sister, Monika.

 Gloria tries everyday to combine her journalism career with his mothers duties, but it's being difficult and exhausting for her.

Daniel helps her at times, and he enjoyds being with his daughters, but his singing career, which has been on the rise, absorbs almost all of his time.

Thinking of how to help Gloria, Daniel came out with a solution...

His solution was to hire a butler, which turned out to be a female butler, her name is Adriana. 

But there's a problem. Daniel likes Adriana so much.

Fortunately, she's a serious, professional woman. She doesn't like games, plus, he knows the Langeraks' past record, so Daniel did not get far in his attempt to seduce her.

Daniel not only got Adriana's rejection, but a warning from Gloria: one more or those "slips" with the butler and we're done. She's not in the mood for games either.

Daniel understood and quit playing casanova (at least for now). It's time to adjust his behavior to his new life as a professional singer and a responsible father. his crazy life as a single student was far, far behind him.

Daniel and Gloria Get Married

Back in Island Paradise, Daniel didn't wait and proposed marriage to Gloria.

It was done, now he just had to inform his parents.

Just as expected, Tony didn't approve of his engagement due to the conflictos that Gloria had caused between Daniel and Sean. Not to mention his mother, Cassandra, who blamed Tony blamed him for 'not having raised Daniel well'.

Even when he didn't agree with this marriage, Tony supported Daniel by giving him their current house so he could live there with Gloria. Tony moved to his beach house with Jessica and Aislara (his girlfriend at that moment) 

Daniel told Gloria what had happened with his parents and with his brother Simon, who wasn't convinced this marriage would work. (What really happened with Simon, though, was that he was pissed because he had heard about Daniel's affair with Sarah) So now Daniel was on his own, but at least now he and Gloria wouldn't have to continue living at Sean and Ashley's house.

Knowing that most of Daniel's relatives didn't approve of their relationship, they decided to get married in a private ceremony, and pronnounced their eternal love vows on pier facing the ocean.

They were married now. Now they would have to build their future from scratch, Daniel as a singer and Gloria as a journalist.
