Jeannine Langerak, formerly Jeannine Lambert, one of the characters that came with The Sims 3 World Adventures expansion, inhabitant of Champs Les Sims, current wife of Tony Langerak. Here during one of my famous makeovers, still with her original hair.

"I'm finally done, now I'm going to rest. Ugh, I'm dead.

Lucky that Jeannine is already asleep, Tony doesn't think she'll like her new painting, so he'll take it to the boathouse tomorrow, just like the old one.

Yes, it was a nice and joyful birthday party. Good for André. Now lets go to sleep!

Marlene ran into Tony's arms as soon as she saw him. Both he and Jeannine have a tiring day ahead of them, he'd better go change into more comfortable clothes.

Jeannine stays with Henri, who, as always, demands all her attention, but it's hard to take care of a baby in a dress and heels. She'd better go and change. And where is Jean anyway?

Tony and Jeannine are arriving home from their idyllic trip and the first thing they find is Tony arguing with Zoe Allston.

The cause is that Zoe has resumed her babysitting position, which means that Meredith, for whom Bradley has a special affection, won't be back for quite some time.
"Are you saying Mer's not coming anymore?" Bradley asks grumpily.
"I'm saying, she'll come when I get my time off again," Zoe patiently replied.
"Well, I'd rather she come."
"Brad!" Tony intervened.

Zoe immediately forgot about the incident and started taking pictures of Tony. How do you waste the opportunity to take pictures of a celebrity like that?
"That's no way to treat Zoe, she's not to blame that Meredith wasn't still here. If you want to see her ask her out, problem solved. Now can you tell me where Jean is? Her mother wants to see him."
"How should I know, I'm not his keeper."
"That was rude too, you better start showing some respect. For starters, go change into some decent clothes. Then you come back here and apologize to Zoe."

Bradley grumbled off to change clothes, but when he returned, Zoe had already gone down to the kitchen with Jeannine. Tony sends him downstairs to apologize to her. Again in a bad mood, Bradley stormed down the stairs. Tony let out a sigh, the honeymoon is over, he's back home and back to his reality: two teenagers and three infants to raise. Hopefully college will start soon.

A picture says more than a thousand words, Jeannine immediately posted the photo on her social networks to let everyone know that Tony and Jeannine Langerak are having a wonderful time at their home in Champs Les Sims.

"Our photo already has several 'likes' what do you think?" Jeannine asked Tony.
"Excellent, my dear. Now can I post your wedding gift too?"
"Wedding gift? Aw, love, thanks, you shouldn't have, but - what is it?"
"Now you'll see."

Tony's wedding gift to Jeannine was nothing less than the abandoned Nectary. The lot where she always dreamed of opening her own winery, and now it's hers! No longer will she have to work for the Dutiels, she will be her own boss and sell Tony's wine, which he will continue to make with her mentoring.
"Oh, Tony is amazing, thank you love!" She exclaimed when they went to see her the next day.
"It is. And it's all yours," he replied, proudly.
"Not mine, ours," she replied, lovingly.
Sure, the house will need a lot of repairs, paint, and furniture since it's semi-empty, but it's a good start. :)

As she started dinner alone, Jeannine reflected on her attitude towards Tony, apparently she was giving too much importance to her ex and letting her ruin (for the second time) her honeymoon. Cassandra must have known he was bothering her with her calls, maybe that's why she kept doing it, but Tony had put a stop to it. Why keep paying attention to her?

Before long Tony went up to dinner with her and Jeannine apologized to him, promised not to ask questions again and told him that she would not let the past come between the two of them. Again, Tony breathed a sigh of relief, it seemed that at last he and Jeannine will be able to enjoy their new life together.

From that night on, everything went smoothly. They both made a pact not to accept any more intrusions and not to let anything (or anyone) get in the way of their love. To seal the pact they took a selfie together.
Tony's phone kept ringing, but Jeannine didn't notice because it was muted, and Tony didn't plan to answer it for the rest of the trip. Whoever it is, leave a message!

"You want proof that I'm not lying? Here, check my phone, read her messages if you want," Tony said handing her his phone.
Without a second thought, Jeannine took the phone and started swiping down, while Tony looked at her in disbelief.
"It's true," she muttered.
"Of course it is, what's the matter, Jeannie? You weren't like that, you always believed in me."
"Yes, I believed in you. And in the end you abandoned me."
"But I came back, and now we're married. We're on our honeymoon, for God's sake! Can we forget about Cass and enjoy the little alone time we'll have in ages?" cried Tony.

Visibly embarrassed, Jeannine is about to apologize when Tony's phone started ringing again. With a sigh of defeat, Jeannine handed it back to him.
"Yes?" he replied, still in his indignant tone. On the other end came the cheerful voice of Adele Durand. Tony sighed with relief.
"Ah, yes, Adele, how are you?" replied Tony, changing his tone immediately, as Jeannine hurried upstairs.

What? Really? Great, I'm glad that the Cranerlet Nuala was to Laurant's liking, enjoy it and if you need more, I'll send it to you tomorrow, I have a great assortment of wines for all occasions.... No, thanks to you, and tell Laurant that I also send him my regards."

When Tony hung up the phone, Jeannine had already fled the cellar, probably embarrassed by her scene of jealousy. Tony decided to wait a bit to go upstairs, give her some time. He didn't expect her to apologize or anything, he understood how she felt and didn't blame her for it, but he hoped everything was cleared up now and they could finally enjoy their trip in peace.

Night (and snow) fell on Champs Les Sims.

On his way back from his mission, Tony took refuge in the basement cellar to play his drums, Jeannine found it a bit strange, she knows that he usually plays the drums to let off steam when he feels tense, it's like his escape. Hopefully Cassandra Steele has nothing to do with this.

"Tony, is everything all right?"
"What are you saying dear? I can't hear you," Tony replied, still not stopping his playing.
"Tony, that's a lie. You heard me perfectly," Jeannine said without hesitation.

Jeannine was right, of course he could hear her. Tony stopped playing and got up from the stool.
"Tell me the truth, did she call you back?" asked Jeannine.
"Yes."
"Did she tell you what she wants?"
"She said something about business."
"Business? Come on, Tony..."

Jeannine is now where she wanted to be, Champs Les Sims, France. Her real home, her and Tony's hideout, her territory, the only place where Cassandra never set foot.

Jeannine is an expert in gardening, fishing and wine making, but her skills do not include cooking. Hopefully now she will have time to learn about it, and she will start with Crepes.

The Crepes were not perfect, but not bad either. When Tony finished, he gave her a taste of the wine from his cellar, which he has been making for several seasons now. He wants to know what Jeannine thinks, since she is an expert at that.
"So?" he asked eager to hear her opinion. As Jeannine tasted the wine, Tony's phone started ringing for a change.

"Mm, not bad at all. You've gotten so much better at wine making, darling."
 "Thanks for the compliment, love."
"Although we'd both enjoy it more if your phone would stop ringing for at least two hours," Jeannine added.
"Oh, don't worry, I'll silence it right now and for the rest of our trip," Tony replied with a big gulp of wine. "I'll need more than one drink to deal with Cassandra's phone stalking, should I answer it at once to get her to leave me alone?" he thought to himself.

The day after their arrival at Champs Les Sims, they went to visit Francois Lambert, Jeannine's father, who as always received them with great kindness. It was obvious that he liked Tony, in spite of everything. After all, he was Jean's father, the only one of his grandchildren he had the good fortune to know.

Jeannine was happy to be able to tell Francois about her marriage to Tony, Francois was happy too, he said he was now at peace knowing that they had settled their situation and that of their grandchildren. He knew Tony would not let her down, his daughter was in good hands.

Tony felt that for the first time he was doing something right, but at the same time he felt a great responsibility. He'd failed too many times before - this time he couldn't screw it up! But right now his phone was maxed out with Cassandra's messages and missed calls. He'd silenced it, yes, but Cass was a persistent woman, he couldn't ignore her for long. I mean, she was the mother of his children, at some point he would have to answer her, but it would be better to do it when Jeannine and Francois weren't around.

At dinnertime, the boys were briefed on their return trip to Champs Les Sims, which seemed a bit sudden to both of them, but Jean took it rather better than Bradley.

And just when they are going to need her the most, Zoe Allston, the nanny decides to quit.
"Oh, but don't worry Mr. Langerak," said Zoe I already have my replacement, my friend Meredith will be here in a little while to babysit André, Henri and Marlene."
(Phew, thank goodness!)

Tony immediately approved the new nanny. It was urgent for someone to take care of the children during his trip and there was no time to ask for letters of recommendation and such things. Of course, he knows he can also count on Jean and Brad, but they are not "experts" on children, and besides, they must devote themselves to their homework if they want to finish high school and go to college. Let's let someone with experience like Meredith, Zoe's understudy, handle it.

Meredith made her appearance later that night. Bradley and Mer seem to like each other because they both blush constantly while near each other. Brad has never been much of a social butterfly, but he makes Meredith a lot of conversation. They definitely like each other. Hopefully it won't be a problem to leave them alone?

As they will soon be away from home for several days, Tony and Jeannine decided to spend some quality time with their little ones.

After the children went to bed, and while Jeannine was relaxing by the pool, Tony took the opportunity to finish his latest painting. The very 'special' subject managed to awaken Jeannine's restlessness.

He knows Tony has met all kinds of women: athletes, actresses, even mermaids! But a lime green girl? What's she supposed to be, a plant, an alien? God only knows.

He says it's just someone from his imagination, someone he has seen "in his dreams", a character from his novels.
"So an alien, huh? Well, she looks pretty human to me! Whoever she is, she's certainly beautiful and Tony has taken great care to paint her. Gosh... is it normal to be jealous of a painting? Maybe Jeannine is giving it too much importance, time to go to sleep!

The next morning at the Langeraks house...

Jeannine was not in the habit of questioning Tony, usually trusting his word and judgment, but she needed to know, and the kids would soon be up and filling the kitchen with their ruckus, so...
"Then you don't know what Cassandra wanted," he said, before taking the first bite of her bread and jam.

"Nope," Tony replied as he sat down next to her. "He said it wasn't about us, and it wasn't about Bradley either, so I'm lost here."
"Mhm."
Mhm, was another of Jeannine's typical responses when considering if to believe him or not. Tony didn't hold his tongue like other times, now he was determined to set the record straight.

"Jeannine, I explained everything last night, don't you believe me?" he asked.
"I believe you, but I have a feeling you didn't tell me everything, and I'd like to know what Cassandra wants from you," Jeannine replied, with another mouthful.
"'F*ck whatever she wants."

"Whatever it is, it'll have to wait, because you and I are leaving back to Champs Les Sims the day after tomorrow, I've already made reservations," Tony concluded. Jeannine's heart skipped a beat. She was so happy to hear the news that she forgot all about Cassandra at that very moment.

A half hour later, after the romantic reunion, Jeannine became very quiet, which aroused Tony's concern.
"Jeannine, what's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing why?"
"You were suddenly quiet, that's unusual for you, is something wrong?".

"Not really, it's just.... Well, I'd like to know what happened on your date with Cassandra and why she called you today."
"Jean..."
"I'm not complaining, I'm just curious and, as your wife, I think I have a right to know."

"I know, and believe me, I would tell you, but I don't want to hurt you."
"So something did happen between you and Cassandra," Jeannine replied, her voice weak.
"Er... It could have happened, but it didn't, and that's all you need to know."
"Please, Tony, could you be more specific?"

Tony let out a sigh. It was his moment of truth, his chance to start over from zero with Jeannine, no lies.
"Okay," he sighed "Cassandra and I... we kissed and we were about to... you know. But it didn't happen."
The smile faded from Jeannine's lips.
"You kissed her, it means you still have feelings for her."
"It was the heat of the moment, that's all. But I stopped in time, said goodbye and got out of there. It's over, Jean. Please trust me."
"You said goodbye, but now she's calling you to our house. Why?"
"Honestly, I don't know myself."

Tony and Jeannine have nothing more to discuss (for the moment), and both return to the bedroom to spend the rest of the evening together.

Tony and Jeannine's honeymoon has officially restarted.
