Cuando Bradley llegó al parque, Meredith ya estaba ahí. Ojalá no haya esperado mucho.

Como Brad no tiene ninguna experiencia en citas, lo que hizo fue conversar sobre el clima, la escuela, las vacaciones. Oh, y le mostró a Mer algunos videos graciosos de su celular. A Brad le falta un largo camino por recorrer para llegar a ser un verdadero Langerak, si saben a qué me refiero). 

A Meredith también le gustan los gatos. así que le encantaron los videos. Al final de la "cita", le dijo que lo había pasado muy bien.

También le dijo que su nuevo corte de pelo lo hacía lucir 'realmente bien'. Wow. Eso es mucho más de lo que Bradley esperaba. Mientras se despiden, él evalúa su propia actuación...

"Bueno, no estuvo tan mal. Daniel me mataría si supiera como fue, tendré que pedirle algunos consejos para la próxima. Por ahora me doy un 6 de calificación".

Antes de irse, Bradley le pidió a Meredith una segunda cita, y ella aceptó. ¡Fiu, qué suerte!

"Pensándolo bien, creo que me daré un ocho, por lo que Mer dijo del cabello y por conseguir otra cita. Prometo que la próxima será diferente, nada de videos tontos y eso. No te defraudaré Mer", pensó mientras dejaba el parque.

Si Brad supiera lo emocionada que estaba Meredith, se lo había pasado de maravilla y ya contaba los días para verlo de nuevo. Claro, no se hace demasiadas ilusiones, pues sabe que él pronto se convertirá en joven adulto y se irá a la Universidad. ¿Se olvidará de ella entonces? ¿Regresará siquiera a Island Paradise?

Mientras se dirige a casa, Bradley va soñando ya con su segunda cita con Meredith. Apenas puede esperar, pero tendrá que prepararse. ¿Debería pedirle consejo a su papá? ¡Él sabe más sobre mujeres que cualquier otro Langerak! O quizás es muy pronto para invocar sus conocimientos? Oh, bueno, ya veremos...

Cuando Bradley llegó a casa, Jean se encontraba en el jardín, como siempre, tocando la guitarra pacíficamente. Buena música de fondo.

 

No hay forma de que Bradley se siente gruñón esta noche. Al contrario, es la noche más feliz de su vida.

"Sip, valió la pena el corte de pelo, absolutamente".

Para él todo está resuelto, pero no sabe que su vida y la de su medio hermano están a punto de dar un giro de 180 grados.

There's a reason, however, that Bradley, grumpy and all, has agreed to get a haircut. A very good reason, he finally asked out Meredith Henderson, nanny to his half-siblings, and she said yes. His first date! Hopefully it's worth it to have cut off his beloved long hair.

He and Jean decided to try new hairstyles. I don't know if they will keep them or go back to the old ones, Bradley seems to miss his long hair.

Jeannine is really going to need all her patience to deal with Tony's hectic life. Let's not forget that he is a famous writer, explorer, diver and sailor. His life is always spent away from home, out of Jeannine's sight. It's not all good for them, but what can be done? She will have to stay calm.

Starting with the thousand calls he receives a day, who calls him? First of all, from work, they call all the time to give him diving jobs or new archaeological excursions. Secondly, his family, his parents, his cousin Antoine, but above all, his brother Mike who is a great defender of Cassandra. All the information about her, every move, comes to Tony through Mike Langerak and his wife Miranda, who is super friends with Cassandra since college days. Oh, well, it's no secret that the whole Langerak family wants Tony back with her.

Ugh, that's the way things are for Jeannine, not quiet and not encouraging, but will she give up? Never. And neither Cassandra nor all the women who have paraded through Tony's life will ever be able to take him away from her. He's her husband now, so she's going to fight for him and win, even if she has to get him out of Island Paradise...

More memories, Tony and Cassandra's last night together in Island Paradise. At that time things were still good, at least they thought they were.

This must have been the last kiss Tony ever gave Cass before the divorce. Note that his separation occurred in the TS4 version of my game when he was not yet moving to Del Sol Valley.

In both scenes you can see how Tony was still very much in love with Cassandra, it was she who filed for divorce upon learning that he had a son with Jeannine.

Simon practiced with the spell book during his time in college. Actually, this magic thing was just a phase. He finally gave up sorcery and turned to medicine.

Tony, after reading the review of his latest book, The Hidden Door that talks about his adventures in the depths of the Al Simhara pyramids.

Those were difficult days for the whole family, especially for Simon, Daniel and Jessica.  Bradley was just a newborn, he had arrived by surprise and at an inopportune time, and Cassandra, although she loved him with all her heart, as she loved her other children, motherhood was already beginning to weigh on her. She missed her glory days as an acrobat and recognized star.

Cassandra acababa de retomar su acondicionamiento físico para volver a su profesión de Acróbata. Al final, cambió la Acrobacia por el modelaje deportivo, lo cual le trajo de vuelta el éxito y la fama mientras su matrimonio se desmoronaba.

Esta otra es de mucho más atrás, durante una fiesta familiar en Hidden Springs. Tony y Cassandra estaban locamente enamorados en ese entonces. ¡Fueron buenos tiempos! También esta foto fue mi avatar por algunos años en Tumblr.

Como joven adulto, Simon se la pasaba de lo mejor en Island Paradise. Pero los plazos se cumplen, las vacaciones terminan, y finalmente llegó el día en que tuvo que irse a la Universidad.  

Dos fotos muy viejas (de baja calidad) de Simon como adolescente. En realidad son snaps que saqué de SimPE mientras limpiaba mi juego, pero me gustaron porque no tenía nada igual, y las guardé, lol. A veces me pierdo la adolescencia de mis sims sin siquiera darme cuenta.

This photo is from when Tony, Cassandra and her family moved to Island Paradise, their marriage was already in trouble and they both really tried to save it, they did what they could but it didn't work, Tony had already fallen in love with Jeannine, and it didn't help that Cassandra never really seemed happy. With them in the photo is their daughter Jessica, as a teenager, at that time she and her siblings already suspected that their parents' marriage would not last much longer.

 

This photo in a way reflects the current state of Tony and Cassandra's relationship. She, remorseful; he, fed up with dealing with a relationship that just won't die. One might think that the divorce came about because of Tony's mistake, his infidelity. 

But Cassandra's whimsical nature also had a lot to do with the end of the couple, let's not forget that she is the spoiled daughter of two celebrities, a diva in her own right, and that it was she who asked Tony for a divorce on impulse. He kept looking for her for several years, and no matter how much he asked for her forgiveness she never agreed to go back to him. Now they are divorced and although the whole family (especially hers) believes that sooner or later they will get back together, it seems that their separation this time is for good.

Remembering the last time Tony and Cassandra met. That day Cassandra confessed to him that she still had feelings for him despite being engaged to Dean! He almost fell for her again that day, but because of his recent marriage to Jeannine he reacted in time and didn't do anything he had to regret. Will Cassandra give up on him? By the way, the last picture is the one in my Tumblr avatar. ;)

 

Before I say goodbye (for the time being) to my Island Paradise story "Tony and Cassandra", I thought it would be fun to share the Langerak photos left in my archive. I hope it's fun for you guys too. Here we go. I'll start with this photo of Tony's house on the island. I think I've given credit before, but I'll do it again, the lot is Eco House by Naday  I’ve had this house in my game for years and I love it. :)

And what will happen with Dean and Cassandra? We'll find out later. Dean is pretty sure he can easily win her back. What Dean doesn't know is that she has a surprise for him, and we have a feeling that "surprise" involves her ex-husband, Tony Langerak.

Tony knows it doesn't end here, because he knows Cass, he's sure she's up to something and that one way or another he'll meet her and her ex-fiancé Dean again, unfortunately. It will be 

better be prepared.
