Back to Sunset Valley, Part 3: More About the Langeraks

Marcel is very restless and curious. In fact, it was by spying his neighbors with his telescope that he met the children of the McCoys, and ended being Michael's best friend.

There isn't a day in which Marcel and Michael (right) don't get together to play.. Michael's house is the meeting point of the crew they form along with Zach Lothario (left).

By the way, Marcel met Michael's sister Alison first, she's now the girlfriend of his brother, Orlando. Marcel had a crush on her for a while, but soon he discovered that she was interested in Orlando. Not a suprise since she's a young adult already, she wouldn't put her eyes in a teenager like him.

There are two more members of the crew: Dominic Bachelor, (Dusty Bachelor's son and Michael Bachelor grandson), here with Zach.

And Fulton Wolff, (with his back turned), Thorton Wolff and Felicity Bachelor's son and also Michael Bachelor's grandson. So, Dominic and Fulton are first cousins. (Another tangled mess, sorry).

The point is, Michael McCoy is Marcel Langerak's best friend.

Marcel, as well as his other friends often feel at home at the McCoy's house. Like that night they had a slumber party.

Or the afternoon they attended Michael's little sister Misty's birthday.

Misty became a child.

Now she will suffer with homework like the rest of them...  it's every sim child's fate.

Another event Marcel attended was Zack Lothario's youngest sister Kat's birthday.

Kat didn't turn into a child but into a teenager.

And Marcel was immediately in love with her.

Shortly after meeting each other, he asked her to be his girlfriend. And Kat accepted!

Orlando asked Alison McCoy to be his girlfriend too. Finally!

Alison said yes, just in time for the summer!

Orlando was able to spend a happy and peaceful vacaction.

Except for the two days he spent teaching Marcel to drive.

And the evening mom and dad announced to them that they were having a baby brother. What news!

Antoine was so happy he invited his parents Robert and Camille for dinner to give them the good news.

Months later, it turned out that the baby brother was a baby sister, they called her Patricia.

Everithing was going wonderfully for the Langeraks in the peaceful Sunset Valley.

Until, shorlty before the end of the summer, Antoine found out that his friend Emily Core's husband, who had abandoned her with four children, and of whom she had heard nothing, was no other than Dean Lothario.

 

The same Dean that was about to marry Cassandra, his cousin Tony's ex wife, Emily wanted to tell Cassandra before she got married, that Dean was married already and was the father of four. So she asked Antoine where she could find her.

Antoine of course knew where to find Cassandra: at her home in Island Paradise! But he told Emily he didn't and asked her for a few days to find out.

  

What he actually did was call Tony to tell him what has happened and ask him if he should give Cassandra's location to Emily, or talk to Cassandra himself. Tony was shocked by the news and offered to tell Cass himself as soon as he returned to the island from his honeymoon in Champs Les Sims. Antoine was relieved for not having to get involved in someone else's family drama.

But his relief vanished when he went looking for Emily and learned from one of her children that Emily had not wanted to wait and had left for Island Paradise to find Cassandra herself.

How could he forget that Emily also worked in Law Enforcement and had access to many databases due to her position as a Crime Scene Technician. That's how she was able to obtain Cassandra's adress in Island Paradise.

Now all that was left was to pray that Tony would get to the island before she did to talk to Cassandra.

And this is as far as we go (for now) with Sunset Valley. Soon we will return to Island Paradise to see what will happen with Tony and Cassandra.

Back to Sunset Valley, Part 2: The Langeraks

Back in Sunset Valley with another family we had to return with sooner or later to continue with their story.

We're talking about Antoine Langerak, his children Orlando and Marcel...

And of course his wife, Ella Carlisle. All of them moved a while ago to Sunset Valley from their old home in Island Paradise. Ella continued with her Cooking career and she's already at Level 6, siguió adelante con su carrera de Cocina y ya es Nivel 6, Pastry Chef.

Antoine is still working in Law Enforcment. He moved up quickly too, now he is a Special Agent.

Upon arriving to Sunset Valley his marriage faltered, because, apart from the problems they had in Island Paradise because of Ella's infidelity, Antoine was on the verge of being unfaithful too with his workmate, Emily Core.

Fortunately, Antoine reconsidered and, in order to save their marriage, he invited Ella on a second honeymoon to Champs LeSims. Or better said, their first honeymoon, since they never had one due to their hasty marriage. (They had to get married cause she was expecting a baby).

That baby is already a young adult, Orlando, their oldest son,who took time to adapt to the life of Sunset Valley, especially its weather, a hundred times colder in spite of being a beach like Island paradise, although not as paradisiacal. 

To his luck, Orlando enrolled in the Community College that same year and that made him miss his beloved island a little less.

At the Uni he met new friends, like Jon Lothario and his half-sister Amy (daughter of Don Lothario and his second wife, Dina Caliente).

He met Sugar Landgraab, daughter of Megan Langerak, his father's great aunt. Sugar is, therefore, Orlando's aunt as well. (A tangled mess, I know.). 

He met Sugar Landgraab's brother Eric too, not at the University, but as he roamed the streets of Sunset Valley riding Baron, his mother's old horse..

But the one he was most excited to meet was the love of his life, his neighbor Alison McCoy, whom he met for the first time at the Spring Festival, when she was still a teen.

Alison es the daugher of Allister McCoy, one of the first neighbors to make friends with Orlando's parents.

Allister is a famous explorer, almost as famous as Orlando's uncle, Tony Langerak. 

Allison's mother is Tracey McCoy, she's in the Education career, she's a teacher at the local high school.  The McCoys have a very good relationship with Antoine and Ella, and their children have made good friends with Marcel.

Marcel is Orlando's younger brother, he has indeed enjoyed the life in Sunset Valley. Cold weather and all he practices windsurf, his favorite sport, on a daily basis. And although he's lived there for a short time, he has made a lot of friends. But we'll talk more about Marcel, The McCoys, and the rest of the Langerak family on the nex post. :)

New Sims, New Families

In addition to my generations game, I've created some new families, about which I'll start writing soon. On of them are The McCoys, from Sunset Valley: Allister and Tracey McCoy (OCs of mine) and their children Allison and Michael.

My beloved Roaring Height, an almost 'unplayable' city because of its lag problems, but even so I have managed to build a small story here.

Grumpo and Jessica are the protagonists in my Roaring Heights story. Grumpo es a Maxis 'premade'. Alike Allister, Tracey and Karen (mi new sim from Island Paradise), Jessica or Jess, isn't my creations, the credit goes to Levitas Sims 3.

Karen is a Secret Agent in Island Paradise, a world I love to play with. Soon we will know more of her story as well as the other families'.
