What Happened After the Wedding (Part 2)

Turns out, after a few days of boredom at home, ignored by everyone except for Dakota, the family cat...

Tony had an unexpected encounter with Cassandra at the bar where he used to hang out with his brother.

Unexpected and magical, because Tony and Cassandra were able to remember the beautiful moments of their past together.

During a sudden attack of nostalgia, they were even on the verge of a reconciliation at Tony’s beach house in Sulani.

But Cassandra reacted on time and brought him back to reality: a reconciliation was imposible for him, ‘cause he was married already, and she had just got engaged with her boyfriend Dean.

Tony was dissapointed. As soon as he got home, he went back to depression.

... and to alcohol.

He tried to get overcome it by sharing time with the family, but neither that, nor the time he spent working on his book, made him forget about Cassandra.

If only he wasn’t married, she’d probably had broken up with Dean and they will be together now.
"Boy, was I stupid”.
Y así pasó los días, bebiendo y culpándose.

Until, finally one morning, in the middle of a hangover, he made his final decision: goodbye Scarlet, goodbye Del Sol Valley. He’d go back to the place he belonged to and should’ve never left...

His true home: Island Paradise.

The end Tony & Cassandra’s story, Sims 4 version.

What Happened After the Wedding (Part 1)

After the wedding, Tony’s life became a struggle between getting along with Scarlet and coping with with his children Daniel and Jessica, who were mad at him most of the time.

And the chaos triggered by his constant drinking, which ruined his work as a relic  authenticator as well as the few little moments he could share with his baby daughter.

He could hardly find the inspiration to write, plus what would he talk about in his books if his adventures as an explorer were suspended indefinitely?

If he ever went out in the street, he was immediately harassed by the paparazzi, or bothered by the fans asking for autographs.

His only consolation was to hang out with Tony, his twin brother, who was temporarily in Del Sol Valley following his wife Miranda’s music tour.

And yet he had to put up with the news about Cassandra, her success as a sports model, and how happy she was with her new boyfriend, Dean Lothario. It was a fact: she had forgotten him, or at least he thought so at that time...

Tony and Scarlet's Wedding (Part 2)

The Wedding party goes on, Scarlet is having a terrific time posing for the pictures.

Tony’s just passing the time, counting the hours for the whole thing to end.

Scarlet: Those pictures will be in the newspapers , and all around the social network tomorrow. You should at least try to smile and, you know, pretend you are really happy?

Scarlet: And you should definitely stop drinking.

Tony: Why is it forbidden?

Scarlet: No, but everybody can see you're drunk now. And your daughter is looking at me as if it was me who turned you into an alcoholic. But we got somebody else to blame for that, don’t we?

(Even Quentin, Tony’s favorite barman, can see this isn’t going well).

Tony just had it and throws the reporters away. Who let them in here after all?

He wishes the party would end already.

Finally, around 7 am, the last of the guests has gone.

"The stupid wedding is over, thank good God". Tony can finally breath with relief. But not far from there, in Brindleton Bay...

Dean: Cass, are you alright, dear?
Cassandra: No, I'm not alright, but please, let's not talk about it.

Tony and Scarlet's Wedding (Part 1)

The day of Tony and Scarlet's wedding finally arrived. She obviously was happy but the rest of the family wasn't.

Simon, Daniel and Bradley, as well as Scarlet's oldest son, Matt, watched incredulously while Tony and Scarlet exchanged rings. Even Lakshmi, the Langeraks' babysitter, was shocked.

"Oh, Dad, I can't believe you did this to mom".

"Why? You don't even look happy with this wedding."

It's done. Tony has gotten married again.

But he didn't feel anywhere near as happy as he had been about marrying Cassandra.

Scarlet, on the other hand, was not only happy, but relieved. It was a triumphant day for her. She not only had beaten (or so she thought) her strongest rival, Cassandra, but she was out of her ex-husband Steven's reach.
"At last, go to hell, Steven".

Daniel, Simon and Jessica weren't doing well. In fact, they felt as if they were in a funeral, not a wedding.
Simon: Now what?
Daniel: We put up with this witch, I guess
Jessica: I won't, I'll return to live with mom immediately.
Simon: She moved in with Don Lothario, remember?
Jessica: *Sighs* That's true.
Simon: Lucky I got married too, so I won't have to deal with mom and dad's constant clash of egos. Look how far it has gotten them.

Kimberly and Jessica aren't the best of friends, but at least they get along well. Although Jessi doesn't feel like talking to anybody at this moment, especially not her dad.

Tony: Come on, Jess, say something, please.
Jessica: Really, dad? You want me to say something?
Tony: Well, I know what you're probably going to say.
Jessica: Exactly, then please don't ask.

Bradley, the youngest brother, isn’t feeling well about all this either.

Jessica: “Aww, Brad, I’m glad to see you, buddy. I’ve missed you so much.

Bradley: “I’ve missed you too, sis.”

Jessica: “How is everything at home? Is mommy alright?

Bradley: “She’s fine. This Dean guy is okay, but he’s not as cool as my Dad”.

Jessica: “I know, right?”

Bradley: “I miss Daddy”.

Jessica: “Yeah, so do I”. (*Sigh*)

Tony's New Marriage (Sims 4 Version)

“Mr. Langerak, would you answer some questions for the Del Sol Valley Sun?”

“Sorry, hun. I said no interviews”. But the reporter wouldn’t take no for an answer.

“Is it true that you’re engaged with Scarlet Martinez, the ex wife of the famous politician Steven Martinez?”

Tony thought it was better for him to answer some questions to clarify the rumours that had been going around about him, Scarlet and this “famous” politician.

After a few vodkas he caved in and told her everything she wanted to know. Dakota, the family kitten was there to witness such mistake.

The night has fallen, the reporter has left. Everything seems calm at the Langeraks house, but Tony is obviously not happy. “Jeeze, what have I done?”
“God, I hate paparazzi”

So it was true! Tony was dating Scarlet Martinez, the ex-wife of the renowned politican Steven Martinez's, son of Angela and Robert Martinez from Oasis Springs.

The news about their relationship and their probable marriage was all around the social networks.  The reason for Tony's hasty decision? Well, Scarlet had recently had a daughter, Tony's daughter, of course.

Ignoring his recent, secret and failed romance with Kala, a mermaid girl from Sulani, and the fact that he also had had a daughter with her, little Kayla, Tony continue ahead planning his marriage with Scarlet.

He moved in with Scarlet to a family-size home in Del Sol Valley.

Their respective daughters, Jessica and Kimberly moved with them.

Daniel also moved in, and so did his newly born little half-sister Nancy, who is not in these pictures yet.  Simon, the oldest brother had his own family already in Sulani; and Bradley, the youngest, was still a child, so he stayed with his mother, Cassandra.

Once in his new house, Tony dedicated himself solely to write.

And again, to drink.

A few days later, during a short vacation in Selvadorada, he gave Scarlet an ring and then they both exchanged vows in a private ceremony.

Which continued in Brindleton Bay. But the true wedding wouldn't take place until they had announced it to the rest of the family.

Tony knew that Simon, Daniel and Jessica wouldn't take it well, and probably neither would Kimberl, Not to mention Kala, she surely would hate him for the rest of his life.

.

But what difference did it make?

The only woman he really cared about was with someone else now; so let Brindleton Bay burn to the ground, and the press eat him alive, his life was already ruined anyway.
