The day of Tony and Scarlet's wedding finally arrived. She obviously was happy but the rest of the family wasn't.
Simon, Daniel and Bradley, as well as Scarlet's oldest son, Matt, watched incredulously while Tony and Scarlet exchanged rings. Even Lakshmi, the Langeraks' babysitter, was shocked.
"Oh, Dad, I can't believe you did this to mom".
"Why? You don't even look happy with this wedding."
It's done. Tony has gotten married again.
But he didn't feel anywhere near as happy as he had been about marrying Cassandra.
Scarlet, on the other hand, was not only happy, but relieved. It was a triumphant day for her. She not only had beaten (or so she thought) her strongest rival, Cassandra, but she was out of her ex-husband Steven's reach.
"At last, go to hell, Steven".
Daniel, Simon and Jessica weren't doing well. In fact, they felt as if they were in a funeral, not a wedding.
Simon: Now what?
Daniel: We put up with this witch, I guess
Jessica: I won't, I'll return to live with mom immediately.
Simon: She moved in with Don Lothario, remember?
Jessica: *Sighs* That's true.
Simon: Lucky I got married too, so I won't have to deal with mom and dad's constant clash of egos. Look how far it has gotten them.
Kimberly and Jessica aren't the best of friends, but at least they get along well. Although Jessi doesn't feel like talking to anybody at this moment, especially not her dad.
Tony: Come on, Jess, say something, please.
Jessica: Really, dad? You want me to say something?
Tony: Well, I know what you're probably going to say.
Jessica: Exactly, then please don't ask.
Bradley, the youngest brother, isn’t feeling well about all this either.
Jessica: “Aww, Brad, I’m glad to see you, buddy. I’ve missed you so much.
Bradley: “I’ve missed you too, sis.”
Jessica: “How is everything at home? Is mommy alright?
Bradley: “She’s fine. This Dean guy is okay, but he’s not as cool as my Dad”.
Jessica: “I know, right?”
Bradley: “I miss Daddy”.
Jessica: “Yeah, so do I”. (*Sigh*)
