Tony's Return to Starlight Shores - Part 1

Arriving at Starlight Shores, Tony felt strange. He hadn't been there in over 20 years, since he had met Cassandra in his college days. And it had been even longer since he had been to the Steele's, but he knew more or less what he would encounter there.

For starters there was his former mother-in-law, Myriam Royale, who hadn't exactly been his "fan" since his divorce from Cassandra, let alone after his two other failed marriages, not to mention his problems with alcohol. However, Myriam had not hesitated to ask for his help in trying to cheer Cassandra up, and she had received him warmly. (Perhaps because she didn't know yet that he was returning from his honeymoon after marrying his fourth wife, Jeannine).

Simon Steele, Cassandra's father, was also there. Simon had always shown sympathy for Tony, even during the most difficult years of his marriage with Cass and even after their divorce. He and Myriam still looked wonderful, not as the seniors they already were, but as timeless superstars.

And there was also Jade, the youngest daughter of the Steeles, a teenager about the same age as Bradley whom Tony had never had the opportunity to meet before. She was as pretty as Cassandra, which was to be expected since all the Steeles were good looking. The family was friendly enough to invite him to breakfast, but Tony didn't want to interfere in their lives. so, after thanking them for the invitation, he went straight upstairs to Cassandra's bedroom.

Myriam had warned him that Cassandra was depressed and somewhat moody; plus she didn't know he would be traveling to Starlight Shores, so he had to be prepared for her reaction. Tony knew Cassandra all too well, so he would be able to deal with it....

Michelle Cho's New Life - Part 2

Starlight Shores, May 13, 2013

After the party with her relatives, Michelle continued to work hard delivering sing-a-grams. Another of the recipients was Matias Singh.

She was also singing for tips outside the Rodeo Go-Go. But there wasn't much luck.

However, thanks to the time she spent singing, she was promoted to the next level: Sing-a-Gram Pro!

In the evening, she got rid of the Level 1 uniform and, very tired, she started the way home.

The morning after, she heard that a SimFest was taking place at Verde Park. She quickly changed into her uniform and headed there.

Already at the SimFest, it turned out Nick's father, The Great Winston was performing and chose her as a volunteer for his trick Swords of Destiny. Michelle was a bit afraid, but she accepted only because he was Nick's father.

With great skill, The Great Winston places the swords and then takes them out.

And there is Michelle, safe and sound!

"Phew, I survived. I'm never gonna do this again, I swear!"

When she got out she wondered if Winston knew that she was in a relationship with his son.

After the show, she had time to talk to him, they introduced to each other and Winston welcomed to the his family. Michelle was relieved to know that she had been accepted.

Then she thought it would be interesting to participate herself in the SimFest. So she made some quick, necessary changes to her appearance and uniform, and asked the propietor for a chance to go on stage.

The propietor said yes and went on to announce Michelle's performance. 

"Our next participan is the young singer Michelle Bell! Come on, Michelle, show us what you can do".

"Finally, my first SimFest".

"Dedicated to you: mom, dad, Miranda and Willy".

There wasn't a big crowd that night, but Michelle still gave the best of her.

She sang with the characteristic feeling of her style.

Her performance was excellent, and the audience awarded her with their approval.

"Let's give our last contestant, Michelle Bell, a big applause for her sensational performance! And now, ladies and gentleman, the time has come to announce the winner".

 "And the winner of this SimFest is... The Great Winston!"

Winston didn't seem surprised. He was sure of his triumph, no doubt, since he was the most experienced artist of all the participants. He was simply great.

"Don't worry, Mercedes, someday we will win a SimFest too".

"Well, it's over. I didn't win, but it was an incredible experience. I think I'll never forget this night".

But the night was far from being over for Michelle. Before she could go home, she got a phone call to deliver a sing-a-gram to none other than the super diva, Myriam Royale.

Apparently, being a Sing-a-Gram Pro means you deliver messages to more important people.

"Finally at home. What a great day! Too ad I wasn't able to see Nick, but I'll tell him all about it tomorrow".

And that's how Michelle's new life went. She was ascending fast and she probably continued to do so because of her great talent and dedication.

The Diva and Divo of Starlight Shores

Starlight Shores, Memories of April 24, 2013

We're going back briefly to Starlight Shores, to take a look at the life of the rich and famous. We were at the residence of the diva and divo Miryam Royale and Simon Steele (Cassandra's parents) who were entertained playing a pool match.

Pool is Simon's favorite hobby. Myriam isn't an expert but she always plays with him.

 Myriam failed her shot, but didn't give up.

 "Doesn't matter, I'll recover in the next round".

They were both having great fun until Simon's phone rang. They wanted to hire him for a tour. Let's not forget he's Simon The Firefly, a famous Master Acrobat.

Simon went on tour that same day.

It's the first time he'd perform in Appaloosa Plains.

"So long, Starlight Shores. I'll be back soon."

Myriam stayed home alone. She should be used to this tour thing, but she always misses Simon a lot when he travels. It's obvious. It's just the two of them since Cassandra, Dominic and Vincent got married.

Of course, their cats Patches and French Fry keep them company.

But still, Myriam always will miss Simon. They are already inseparable, and alike other famous diva and divo couples, they've never had a problem. They get along beautfiully and they're not jealous about each other's careers.

"I wish Simon a wonderful time on his tour".

Simon returned home late at night. His performance in Appaloosa Plains was a resounding success, the only bad thing was he didn't have time to see the city. Well, it would be some other time.

Another one of Simon's hobbies is to prepare cocktails. Recently he descovered how to mix Romantic Drink, which fixes all relationship problems and the mood of the drinker with  its delicate and seductive flavor. Though it takes practice to perfect it, this drink will be a success no doubt.

Too bad Myriam couldn't try Simon's new drink. She was so tired that she fell asleep in the couch. It would be some other time. The important thing is that they are both together at home again.
