The Day After

Memories of Mayo 19, 2013

The night before, Shantel had been abducted by an alien starship, which, fortunately had teturned her immediately. She didn't remember any of what had happend during her stay in said starship, but she felt a little weird. Somethng had happened in that ship, but what?

 Kay was happy to find her friend safe and sound at home.

"Shantel, thank heaven you're fine. May I know where you've been?"

"I'll tell you later, now I have to go to class".

That day Shantel had to go to a lecture of Profeasor MacDougal.

She could hardly concentrate after the alien spacecraft. What had that been about?

Obviously, after a whole night without sleeping, she finally fell asleep in the middle of her class.

The lecture is over. Finally she's going home!

Kay came back running too. She was dying with curiosity to hear Shantel's story of what had happened the night before.

Shantel told her the little she remembered about the alien spacecraft. Kay found it hard to believe, but Shantel seemed genuine. "Everything Shantel said sound very interesting, if was true, that is. That's exactly what I'm gooing to find out now. it would be a good opportunity to practice with my new scientifi gear".

So she convinced Shantel to let her do some studies of her brain, especially her memory.

"Kay? What are you doing?"

"Please, Shant. Stay quiet for a moment, this won't take long".

 "Are you sure this is going to be alright?"

 ("I mean, you never know with this Goth people".)

How to forget Kay is the dignified granddaugher of the renowned (mad) scientist Mortimer Goth.

Fortunately, Kay's experiment ended soon and everything seemed in order. Shantel breath with relief.

"You can rest easy, my friend. I haven't found any anomaly in you -- for the moment".

"Seriously, you didn't find anything strange?"

"Nothing".

"Ugh, good thing".

In the afternoon, more at ease, Shantel decided to tell her story on the radio of the campus. She immediately started to get a myriad of supportive calls.

One of those calls was from Troy Francis, her vampire friend, which really brightened her day. For her, that whole disgusting exprience with the aliens had been worth it just for this one call.
