Kay and Shantel Arrive to Uni

Memories of May 18, 2013

Early in the morning Kay took the aptitude test to enroll in the University.

 

Shantel took the test as well. They both were in a hurry to leave, if possible, that same day.

And they did. A few hours later, Kay and Shantel arrived to the University and rented a home that they'll pay with  money or their respective scolarships.

 

First thing Kay did was to call her parents to tell them she had arrived safely. And then Aaron to tell him that she loved him and was going to miss him a lot.

Shantel also called her boyfriend, Shark. Although, to tell the truth, she doesn't feel as nostalgic as Kay, she's rather eager to tour the campus and meet new people.

Next, Kay and Shantel got ready to pick a bedroom, unpack and install themselves in their new home.

 

Later, to relax a little, they played a pool match at the pool table in the basement. Apparently, they would not be lacking in fun cause the basement was very well equipped.

 

 

Time to leave for the Meet & Greet, followed by a paparazzo that has managed to make Kay nervous.

 

When they arrived, Shantel went straight to the souvenir table and then she talked to Daniel Vaughn, the Uni team mascot.

 

In the meantime, Kay went to investigate what was on the second floor of the building. Posters, soda vending machiines, a coffee and snack bar, ping-pong, souvenir tables...

Balls, freesbies, chocolate bars.... None of that could really capture her interest.

 

A guy had been following Shantel everywhere, and he wasn't exactly a paparazzo. Obviously Shantel wasn't annoyed in the slightest.

 

While Shante had a great time at the cafeteria, Kay finally found someone of her total interest: The Science Research Station ZRX-9000. 

"Wow, this device is a wonder, I'd love to have something similar at home".

It's evening at the Uni. Kay and Shantel are back from the Meet & Greet.

 

They both went to bed early since the next day is their first day of school. Kay dreamed with all the things she could do with a Science Research Station. Fabulous Investigation that would turn her into a rich and famous scientist. Well, dreaming doesn't cost anything.

Shantel's dreams were simpler, just like her wishes. For now she just hoped they had a better place to eat than the Meet & Greet snack bar, or she'd have to learn to cook. Anyway, she would adjust to her new University life, for now she just had to sleep and wait everything would go well for the next two trimesters.
