Visiting Uncle Tony's House and the Winter Festival

in spite of the massive storm that fell that evening, Kay, Shantel, Aaron and Antoine attended uncle Tony Langerak's party.

Upon arrival they noticed theere was a new building at the end of the block.

 
It's a very exclusive area. To the left is Tony's house which used to belong to the Vanderburg's; and to the right, is mayor Amin Kamel's new mansion. At the center you can see this modern building, where his recently graduated daughter lives now.

 

At the doors of the mansion of the famous adventurer and writer, Tony Langerak, Antoine and Shantel's cousin.

 

Even with the freezing cold, all Shantel could think of was getting into the hot tub.

Boy, is she unpredictable!

The others preferred to stay indoors and listen to Alexandra play the guitar. Among them was her husband Cornell.

 

Aaron was fascinated with the figurines at Tony's private museum. He's always wondered if he will travel to Egypt someday, after all that was where his father Khaled was born. And his uncles Farida and Abdul.

In the corridors of the mansion/museum he met Daniel, Tony's second son, who is already a teen just like his siblings, Simon and Jessica.
 

The Langerak Brothers ran into each other after a long time.

"Antoine? What happened to your hair, man?"

 

Shantel finally got out of the hot tub. Brr! It was time to wrap up.

There was some fishes jumping in the lake next to the Langerak's house. Sure, no one was interested in fishing for now.

Late in the evening, the snowfall increased. It was so cold that Shantel desisted from getting back into the hot tub.

Finally, around 2 am everybody returned to their homes.

The next evening it was still snowing, but Shantel wanted to go to the Winter Festival with her boyfriend Shark. Their pleasure was short-lived cause Shark had a less than friendly encounter with his ex mother-in-law, Bella, while his ex father-in-law, Karim, took a safe distance from both.

 

Shantel asked Shark to return home. The argument between he and Bella had made her cranky, plus she was freezing. She must have caught a cold for spending the previous night in the hot tub.

 

Shantel and Shark returned home under the snow that wouldn't stop falling. The truth, it was a very bitter wintre, but hopefully better times would come for Hidden Springs, hopefully too with a better weather.
