Memories of February 24, 2013
Life continue to smile at the Remingtons from Monte Vista. Robert isn't struggling any more to find work, every audition he gives gets a gig. He will perform at the park soon.
Not long ago he won the title of Local Favorite, granted by the City Council of Monte
Vista. A title not easy to get, but Robert deserves it cause he has worked hard. Now he will be able to polish his star look with a new outfit, original songs and other sing-a-gram styles. The time has come as well to sell his first album to win a few simoleons more.
Not many people attended the concert at the park, but Farah was there as always.
No matter now large the audience is, Robert will always puts a lot of feeling into his songs.
Farah has finished her newest novel The Goose, an exiting piece of dramatic fiction. Some say its very similar to a Pack of Cats: The Musical. As if the book needed more drama...
Farah hasn't been feeling well lately.
"I think I look a little pale... why is that? Maybe I've overworked myself."
Yes, she has had a lot of sleepless nights writing. Maybe she should take a break and rest.
Days later, she confirmed her suspicions: she was pregnant! She and Robert are having a baby!
Robert got another gig at the park.
He put special feeling in it now that he knows he's going to be a Dad.
His effort weren't in vain. That same night, Rober was promoted to Local Phenomenon. Again, the City Council has recognized his work. He's becoming one of the best. It is no longer time to be humble, Robert must go out and tell the people how good he is, and back it up with incredible songs.
With the success came the tours. This is the first time Robert will leave Monte Vista to perform in some other city.
Farah stayed home alone, but not bored, she has a lot to do between her novels and her paintings.
Back from his tour, Robert sold several records in Monte Vista.
That same week, the Remingtons welcomed their first baby, they named him Richard. We will meet him later. Being Robert so famous, they have to keep little Richard well sheltered.
Richard goes on tour very often. Fortnunately, Farah works from home writing her books so she can take care of Richard, to whom she dedicates most of her time. Being parents is a new and exhausting task for the Remingtons, but ther are doing pretty well. At a later time we'll return with them to see their new developments.
