The night before the wedding, Snowie slept on her straw bed in the backyard. The Wassems' Farm can be seen in the background.

A new day is breaking for the Wassem family of Appaloosa Plains.
Since Liang has moved in with Kristina, the next thing to do is to find a job and earn money for both of them, so she can devote herself to her garden. Today seems to be a perfect day to start looking.
Meanwhile, Kristina is still feeling weird, maybe it's time to see a doctor? Snowie came to wake her up, she would like to stay in bed today, but she must tend her garden and, most importantly, talk to Liang. Maybe she should talk to her mom too.
Yes, it's pretty obvious already, Kristina is pregnant, she definitely has to tell Liang and the rest of the family before it starts to show, but -- how will they take it? She only recently turned eighteen! (Oh Kristina, are you trying to follow in the footsteps of your cousin Juliette from Aurora Skies? 🤔).

A view of Kristina and Nathan's house. A part of the Cheyenne and Shawnee Fox ranch can be seen in the background.
Since it was not cold today, Nathan went for a swim in the pool to improve his athletic skill. Behind him is his beloved igloo, which has not melted yet, (too bad Benni could not stay to take advantage of it).
Preparing lunch after the swim.
He also took the time to give Snowie some care.

Sunrise in Appaloosa Plains, it's a sunny day, finally!
Liang slept late because he was so tired from his trip and, ahem, other things.
Kristina did get up early to feed Snowie, since Nathan is sleeping too. Then she played with her for a while.
Snowie seems to have found something better to do.
Nathan woke up and went downstairs for breakfast.
The sun is already streaming through the window, but Liang has decided to stay in bed. No problem, his time in Appaloosa will be a long one, he'll have a good chance to experience the town, this is just the beginning!

When they started living without their parents, Kristina and Nathan didn't know anything about cooking, so they ate whatever was easiest for them to prepare. Today they are both excellent cooks.
Kristina used to read a lot, mostly books about Gardening; she also took care of her father's old orchard.
Nathan didn't do much at first, frankly, except play with Snowie, sleep and dream about his future career, Sports, in which he eventually enrolled.

As I had announced it before, we're moving now to Appaloosa Plains to follow the lives of the Wassem family, especially their two oldest children. After becoming young adults, Kristina and Nathan lived together for a while in the family home, since their parents moved with their younger children to a larger house in order to expand their farm, as they live off their crops.
Kristina and Nathan had plans to go to college together, but little by little, life in Appaloosa Plains took over and made them change these plans. We don't know if they will ever actually enroll in college, but for the time being, Kristina decided to take up Gardening just like her father, Aaron. She currently has a very small orchard in her backyard and is a Level 5 Gardener (Fertilizer Flinger). She recently met the love of her life, although that didn't happen exactly in Appaloosa Plains, but we'll talk about that later.
As for Nathan, he pursued a career in Professional Sports, and is now also a Level 5 (Rookie). He has a girlfriend, Bennie Hennessey, who recently became a young adult too, and two pets that he adores, a fish named Morgan and a female cat called Snowie.
This is Snowy, Nathan's cat, who for now is living with Kristina, then we will find out why. Meanwhile, we will focus mainly on Kristina and Nathan, and, although less frequently, on their parents and their younger siblings.
So, brace yourselves, cause from the sunny beaches of Sunlit Tides we've moved to the country, to Appaloosa Plains, where we'll be staying for a while. 😉
