When they started living without their parents, Kristina and Nathan didn't know anything about cooking, so they ate whatever was easiest for them to prepare. Today they are both excellent cooks.

 Kristina used to read a lot, mostly books about Gardening; she also took care of her father's old orchard. 

Nathan didn't do much at first, frankly, except play with Snowie, sleep and dream about his future career, Sports, in which he eventually enrolled.
