While Denny was away practicing, Rufus came to visit Aidan, he told him that he understood that he had fired him, but maybe they could still be friends, Aidan didn't think it was a bad idea.

Then Rufus said he liked Denny, and that maybe the three of them could have fun together someday. Woah, Aidan knew Rufus was open-minded and kind of cheeky, but this time he's gone a little too far. Aidan's answer was of course no.

It's one thing for him and Rufus to have fun together, and quite another to share Denny with him. So, this time it's really goodbye. (Sorry Rufus, looks like your newborn friendship with your ex-employer. is ending sooner than you expected).

Aidan went downstairs to find Rufus while he was working in the front yard, he was waiting for Denny to leave for work to talk to him.

It's not good news, Aidan doesn't want to cheat on Denny anymore, this affair with him and Rufus has to come to an end. Oh, well, time to move on. But it was nice while it lasted. 

Rufus has left with no hard feelings, Aidan is back to his painting. Now he'll have to get another cleaning guy, hopefully not as handsome as Rufus.

Hey, wait a minute, buddy. Just because you have slept with the owner doesn't mean you're allowed to brush your teeth in his kitchen sink.

Whatever, once his teeth are well brushed and with minty breath, Rufus gets on with his work.

As he scrubs, he wonders why Aidan hasn't come downstairs to greet him and invite him into his bedroom like other times.

It's another day at the Alto-Brower household.

Rufus has just arrived and is starting his duties.

The first thing is to wash the dishes, but - why do they use so many cups? Only two people live here.

Okay, cups washed. Now to get the grime off the countertop, ugh.

Alina, explaining to Rufus that he has to stay away from her brother Aidan.

 

Rufus has helped the family for quite some time, but Alina knows Aidan very well; having someone like Rufus around, daily and alone, is not convenient. She doesn't want Aidan to cheat on Denny, and she and the rest of the family don't want to lose Rufus either.

Yep, that's Aidan, always flirting...

Denny doesn't get angry at him for that because: 1) He accepts him for who he is, that is, flirty. 2) Aidan and Denny are in an open relationship until either of them decides to take the plunge and commit to each other, but they haven't talked about that yet.

It's hard for Aidan to commit now, he's so dedicated to his art, sometimes he doesn't even have time for a relationship. But like I said, Denny accepts him for who he is and has given him his space. We'll see if Aidan decides to take their relationship to the next level.

If his attraction for Rufus does not get in the way, that is.

 

After hours locked in his studio, Aidan almost always ends up stressed and frustrated, it's time for him to take a break.

A break for Aidan (when Denny is not at home, of course) means either smoking a cigarette...

Or flirting with Rufus, the handsome cleaning guy.
