Aidan is preparing dinner before Denny gets home from work.

Denny has arrived. He really liked the face painting Aidan got at the festival; he also liked the sushi he prepared for him.

The two of them had dinner together, Denny had some news to tell Aidan.

He was promoted at work, finally! He's now a Level 3, Stagehand. Aidan is so happy for him, although he's a little sad as well, cause he hasn't had inspiration to keep painting and advance his career. Hopefully he will soon pass this "painter's block" and be able to continue creating masterpieces. Good luck, Aidan!

 The festival looks pretty deserted, Aidan wishes Denny could have come, but he had to practice and then go to work.

Aidan finally found something interesting and fun to do. 

He was very happy with the result and hopes Denny will like it too.

It's time for a snack and, as always, Aidan can't help but flirt with the guys at the food stands.

In the end, he got a discount on the price of his meal, the rewards of being flirty. :P

 It's a brand new day at Aidan and Denny's house, only Aidan isn't there today.

He is at the Summer Festival, being defeated in soccer by Mary-Sue Pleasant.

Aidan couldn't stand for that to happen, so he asked for a rematch. Mary-Sue thought it would be a piece of cake.

Not this time, Mary-Sue!

Mary-Sue is not happy, now she's the one asking for a rematch.

Aidan says sorry, but the game is over. ;)

Aidan is working in the garden.

Since his accident on the beach, he quit drinking and stopped painting as well (for the time being). He enjoys gardening quite a lot, it keeps him entertained and away from trouble.

Today his gnome, Mr. Bucktooth Butternut came to keep him company and bring him good luck… hopefully. 

Meanwhile, at his job, Alexis had to save his own brother's life. Yes, Aidan nearly drowned, and with his clothes on. Denny came running as soon as he knew.

Aidan said there was no need to make a fuss, he just had a bit too much to drink before diving into the sea in search of inspiration for his art. Whatever, he gave them quite a scare!

To celebrate, Aidan and Denny went out to dinner at Riku's Luau Diner.

Before going in, Denny had to answer a phone call; Aidan waited for him smoking a cigarette. In the meantime, other customers came in and out of the restaurant, among them Aidan's brother Adam.

As Denny looks for a place to sit, Adam takes the opportunity to greet his brother and ask him how things are going. Aidan fills him in on the latest events. Adam is glad that everything at Aidan and Denny's house is back to normal. Although, knowing Aidan, that might only be temporary, but you gotta have hope.

Denny did have a chance to talk to new cleaning guy, though, when he returned from the elixir store. Both he and Aidan learned that he's straight and married. Well, if the senior lady can't keep the job, her understudy poses no threat to the tranquility of Aidan and Denny's home.

In other good news, Aidan has just finished another one of his paintings, although he himself still can't figure out what the heck it is.

It's Denny's day off, so he spent it doing what he likes to do best after playing guitar: going to Alistair's and mixing potions to increase his Alchemy skill.

Meanwhile, at home, Aidan welcomes the new cleaning guy… Wait, a guy? He asked for an elderly lady! Well, turns out said lady had a setback today, so they sent what's-his-name to fill in for her or whatever. Aidan told him that he already has a boyfriend who is a musician and wishes to be a movie composer. New cleaning guy doesn't even pay attention, he seems awestruck by Aidan for being a celebrity. Well, actually, the celebrities are his parents, but never mind.

New cleaning guy (Aidan doesn't want to know his name) comes in to clean the painting studio. Aidan is too focused on his painting to talk to him now. Not that he doesn't find him (very) attractive, he just prefers not to look, so he won't get in trouble. Good call, Aidan.

Denny, after returning from work. He is a little worried cause it's been several days, and he hasn't gotten another promotion. Aidan had already gone to sleep when he arrived; he is tired as well, he almost fell asleep on the couch in the living room.

He finally decided to go upstairs and get into bed. Aidan is sleeping like a log. Denny also fell asleep instantly, it seems that just by feeling Aidan next to him, all his worries disappear. :)

While Denny was away practicing, Rufus came to visit Aidan, he told him that he understood that he had fired him, but maybe they could still be friends, Aidan didn't think it was a bad idea.

Then Rufus said he liked Denny, and that maybe the three of them could have fun together someday. Woah, Aidan knew Rufus was open-minded and kind of cheeky, but this time he's gone a little too far. Aidan's answer was of course no.

It's one thing for him and Rufus to have fun together, and quite another to share Denny with him. So, this time it's really goodbye. (Sorry Rufus, looks like your newborn friendship with your ex-employer. is ending sooner than you expected).

Aidan still felt a bit guilty about the Rufus affair, so, with the extra money left from the sale of his painting, he bought Denny a gift.

Yep, it's another guitar. Oh well - Denny is grateful anyway.

And since he has a new instrument, Denny will go practice to see how it sounds.

Wow, it sounds a lot better than the old one, Denny quickly becomes absorbed in his music.

And Aidan focuses on his painting. His life with Denny has never been as good and happy as it is now. Let's hope it stays that way.

When Denny came home from work he had good news, he got a promotion. Great, now they have a little more money to pay the bills with.

Aidan was relieved that their financial situation would improve, but of course he was also very happy for Denny.

He rushed to congratulate him; he thanked him as well for staying by her side.

He gave him a hug and let him know how lucky he was to have him by his side.

After demonstrating their love for each other, Aidan and Deny fell fast asleep. This has been the best and most peaceful night for these two in a long time.

Aidan went downstairs to find Rufus while he was working in the front yard, he was waiting for Denny to leave for work to talk to him.

It's not good news, Aidan doesn't want to cheat on Denny anymore, this affair with him and Rufus has to come to an end. Oh, well, time to move on. But it was nice while it lasted. 

Rufus has left with no hard feelings, Aidan is back to his painting. Now he'll have to get another cleaning guy, hopefully not as handsome as Rufus.

It's another day at the Alto-Brower household.

Rufus has just arrived and is starting his duties.

The first thing is to wash the dishes, but - why do they use so many cups? Only two people live here.

Okay, cups washed. Now to get the grime off the countertop, ugh.
