So, Dale and Riley didn't speak to each other again during and after dinner; it's a fact, this is the end of what could have been a nice friendship.

In a brief moment of clarity, Riley realizes what she has lost, which is quite a lot. For starters, Dale's trust and any chance of getting anywhere with him.

If she had at least been careful enough to win Kelly over, to befriend her and get her on her side, stealing Dale from her would have been much easier. It was a strategy mistake; she'll have to come up with something better.

Riley's greatest loss was undoubtedly Sarah. Her best - if not her only - friend; and briefly her sweetheart, the only relationship in her life that had really worked. As the saying goes: no one knows what they've got until it's gone. (*Sigh*)
