Dale took a sip of his coffee and prepared for cross-examination. Of course, Kelly wasn't going to let the matter go that easily, but he might as well get it all cleared up at once. 

After a few minutes, Kelly has heard all about it, bit by bit. Terence's advice to Dale annoyed her but did not surprise her.

Kelly: "Give her what she wants", no doubt about it, Terry is a jerk; but what could you expect from him other than 'advice' that only benefits him.

Dale: Well, like I told you before, I didn't take his advice.

Kelly: Fine, you better.

Kelly: As for Riley, who the hell does she think she is to put conditions on you?

Dale: She's just a spoiled brat, you shouldn't take her seriously. Besides, it looks like she's leaving already.

Kelly: Or course she's leaving, but not without hearing from me first.

Dale: You're not thinking of going to complain to her, are you?
