Sarah is coming home from her last class, she has a lot of studying to do but she's thinking of distracting herself a bit by playing on her computer.
When she goes in the living room, she discovers that Dale has been overcome by drowsiness and has fallen asleep on the couch. Kelly is still out on the porch, smoking, and seeing how tired he is, she decided not to bother him, plus, she's still kind of pissed about the whole Riley thing.
Sarah has some things to discuss with Dale, but she didn't want to disturb him either.
Sarah: (To herself) Well, I guess I'll have to go play in the kitchen so I don't wake Cho. Rest up, dude, you deserve it, it was a long and stressful day. But trust me, soon you won't have anything to worry about, except for your diva girlfriend of course.
Sarah settles into the kitchen with her laptop; Kelly has just come in from the terrace where she has smoked her fourth cigarette of the night, and is now enjoying a quick dinner before Dale wakes up and they get down to studying. The noise Sarah's game makes distracts her, causing her to forget about her reheated mac and cheese for a moment.
Kelly: So - are you and your girlfriend moving out or not?
Sarah: Rye is moving out, I'm staying.
Kelly: Oh, that's great news.
Sarah: And... she's not my girlfriend anymore.
Kelly: Wow, really?
Sarah: Yeah, but I'd rather not talk about it right now.
Kelly: (Shrugs) Okay.
Sarah: What about you and Cho - did you guys have a fight too?
Kelly: We didn't have a fight. And I don't want to talk about that either.
Sarah: Fair enough. You know I don't care what you do with your lives, but I'll tell you one thing: Cho is a good guy, so you better take care of him.
Kelly: What do you mean 'take care of him'? Do you think I'm no good for him?
Sarah: No, no, I think you guys make a good couple, it's just that sometimes you push him too hard, you know because he looks at other girls, or because you don't like his brother. I think you should be more friendly.
Kelly: (Eats a couple of spoonfuls furiously) Since when do you care what I'm like with Dale, and what's this 'he's a nice guy' thing, do you like him?
Sarah: Ew, of course not, I just said he's a good person, of course I'm not interested in his... Well, like I said, it's none of my business, it was just an opinion.
Kelly: Well, I didn't ask for your opinion so you better keep it to yourself.
Sarah: Then don't you ask me about Riley again.
Kelly: Fine.
Sarah: Fine.
