"Yeah, the portal is working alright, I can see the energy flowing from side to side, just like it should." Robin said, after taking one more look at the portal from the living room.
"It wasn't hard at all to fix, these things are so predictable."
"Well, this one wasn't so much last time." sighed Robin. "Anyway, I'll test it another day. Right now I'll just bring you the journal and I'll be on my way."

You know, I ask because Judith and I have considered going to live in Oasis Landing after we get married.""I see. Well, love in 2054 is an outdated concept, a thing of the past, and sometimes a mental health issue, like some sort of temporary insanity, so to speak.
"Wow""I know. Now, if by passion you mean sex, that is allowed. In fact it's recommended. For adults, naturally, and it's exclusively for entertainment, not for procreation. So as long as you don't use it to produce children, if you're consenting adults, wether single of married, you don't need a 'permission' to have sex".
"Phew, thank goodness."
"Yeah, some things never change, thankfully."
They both laughed.
