"I see the portal is up and running again," Robin said looking out the window into the backyard.
"Oh, yes, it's ready to use. Do you want to go see it?", Dustin asked.
"Not really. I mean, what's the point if I can't even use it".
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to time travel again after you talk to Emit. Come on, let's go, we can take a look at it from the terrace".
"There you have it, in all its glory, a little snow covered, but overall, it's looking good", Dustin said. 
"... And it's running like new. I repaired it myself. Only, of course, I couldn't test it with everything I have going on. Which is a shame, cause I'd love to go with you into the future if Emit authorizes it"."Don't worry, by the time Emit comes, you'll probably be back from your honeymoon".
"I highly doubt it, because I plan on it being very long, hehe."
"I can imagine," Robin chuckled. "Well, I think my visit has gone on long enough, so I'll get you the journal from the car and let you get on with your day," he added. But Dustin still had a lot of questions and a thing or two he felt it necessary to tell him.
