It stopped snowing on campus, and although the ground is still covered in white and the lake is still frozen, at least the sky is now clear. Spring is near, and so is the end of the term.

In the dorm, lunch is over and Riley has to go to her class.

Riley: (to Sarah, ignoring Dale) Well, I should be going now.

Sarah: Mhm.

That was it, and although Sarah followed Riley into the living room, she didn't say a word to her there either, nor did they say goodbye as cheerful and affectionate as always.

Yep, something is definitely wrong between the two girls, and Dale will try to find out what it is. Then he'll try to talk to Sarah in a serious way about what happened with Riley. He'd better take the opportunity now that she's left alone.

Dale: Say, Sarah, is there a problem between you and Riley?

Sarah: None of your business.

Well, Sarah's not very receptive, and she certainly sounds upset, so it'll have to be another day.
