Dale walked into the kitchen, Sarah and Riley were there eating their lunch. Riley didn't even look at him, but there was something resembling a smile on her face. She must be pretty sure that he will end up accepting her request. She's not stupid, she knew he would call Terry, and that he would advise her exactly what she wants. But she's in for a surprise when he communicates his decision to her.

Too bad he and Kelly had to leave, this apartment was so comfortable, so close to the school and with plenty of room for them and their roomies. Dale never thought that finding someone to share expenses with would end up bringing him trouble instead of advantages.

The worst part is that none of the girls help with the cleaning chores, Riley is a spoiled rich girl. Sarah calls herself an "intellectual," so she doesn't do anything that doesn't involve her brain; and Kelly... 

Dale: (to himself) "Kelly is a diva, a queen, her hands won't touch this filth, I'd rather clean it myself... Anyway when I open my bar, I'll initially have to clean it myself, so, I'd better start practicing."

As Dale cleans up, he notices that Sarah and Riley aren't talking. They have been eating in absolute silence since he arrived. He doesn't think he's heard them talking before either. Talk about "trouble in paradise"!

Well, lunch is over and they haven't said a word to each other. What happened? Did the turtledoves have a fight? Does Sarah have second thoughts? Or did she overhear his conversation with Riley? It would be great if she did, it would save him a lot of work. Plus, Sarah's a decent roommate, maybe they could take her with them to their new apartment. That is, of course, if Kelly approves.
