As soon as dawn broke, shortly before leaving for his classes, Dale met Riley and Sarah outside the dorm. Again, the two refused to talk. They looked embarrassed and exchanged glances. Dale deduced that it was some kind of girl-only thing, so he gave up.

Dale: (thinking) That's enough, I'll ask Kelly to talk to them.
