Kelly woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t go back to sleep, thinking about the argument she had with Dale. She’s worried, not about the things he said, but what he didn’t say.
Now she’ll have to distract herself a bit to get her mind off it. She could watch TV or read for a while, but she doesn’t want to run into Riley or Sarah.
Kelly: I hope those witches have already gone to sleep.
She tiptoed to their door and very carefully opened it to look in. Yes, the ‘witches’ are already fast asleep, how nice!
She tried to read for a while in the living room, but it wasn’t comfortable. She had to get dressed because the fireplace was out and it was cold in there. Also, she couldn’t stop thinking about the last thing Dale had said:
“See? You’re the one who can’t stand him, but T has never hated you, in fact, he…”
And then he had suddenly gone quiet.
In fact Terence what? What did Dale rather not tell and why?
“In fact he likes you? In fact he doesn’t even care if you exist?”
Ah, what does she care what that rascal Terence thinks or says about her? Thank goodness she started feeling sleepy again, that way she will stop thinking nonsense.
As she gets into bed she could see that Dale is wearing one of their matching t-shirts, and… pants too? Hm, that’s odd from Dale. Could it be because of the cold? Or maybe he doesn’t want to be seen in his underwear by those two nosy b*tches. If so, then good thinking.
As a sign of her approval, Kelly decides to wear her matching t-shirt too.
She felt so comfortable in her pajamas, especially after the freezing cold she experienced in the living room. Slowly, peace returns to her mind and she immediately falls asleep, this time even more soundly.
