Last Days of School

The next morning it continued raining even heavier. It was as if the rain was never going to go away

But even with that they had to go to class. It was a Wednesday, a difficult day with three classes in a row.

Kay and Shantel would go from hall to hall, under the rain, from 8 am to 6 pm. They wished those wouldn't be so far from each other.

It was getting dark and there was still one class left.

At checkout time, Shantel was starbing, she couldn't wait to go home so she headed for the cafeteria.

There she ran into her dear Troy, who entertained himself reading a novel while she devoured slice of cake. "How come he's not hungry at this hour? Anyway, I suppose vampires don't eat cake".

 Shantel finished her meal and, as she had promised to Kay to behave herself for the rest of the trimester, she said goodbye to Troy with a kiss and left, leaving him a bit puzzled.

The next day, the second to last before the final exam, Kay had a Science practice outside the School. She would have no choice but to get soaked!

Shantel took the stand during professor MacDougal's lecture. The truth, she's very good at public speaking.

Then she was taking a lot of notes. She couldn't fail the coming exams after having failed the last trimester's.

As for Kay, at least the rain had stopped and she could carry out her practice from beginning to end without getting wet.

Back home, the rain has ceased completely and the sun was shining. Amazing.

Expecting that the good weather would continue, Shantel threw a University goodbye party.

Another party. But Kay wasn't nervous anymore. She trusted her friend would behave herself, and besides, she was happy because she would return soon to Hidden Springs with her beloved Aaron.
