The day after her birthday party, the first day of the Fall, Kay helped her parents to rake the leaves.
She didn't resist to play with them, it was another happy day for her, cause it was her Graduation day.
Yes, Kay finished High School and went to pick up her certificate. She's graduated!
(I don't understand why she used that funny hat, though. Oh well...)
Dakota, her little dog was also very happy, and apparently eager to play with Kay.
But Kay was a little busy the rest of the morning, taking her aptitude test for the University.
It seemed like she had to improve her skill level to obtain a scholarship. So she decided to use the days she had left to prepare herself better.
Kay doesn't want to be a financial burden for her parents, so she decided to move in with Shantel. They both would look for a job and save what they could to pay the Uni registration fee and, at the same time, they would improve their corresponding skills. Besides, Kay would contribute with a part of her salary for the apartment expenses.
Shantel had a pet too, her little dog Cinnamon. Kay was considering the possibility of bringing Dakota with her later. Shantel agreed, hoping that their pets would end being as good friends as they were.
The first thing Kay did on arrival was to fix dinner.
Dinner time, the first meal of Kay and Shantel's new young adult life.
Shantel finished her dinner at the terrace, enjoying the quietness of the night while she thought of all her plans.
She was eager to go to the University to show the whole Hidden Springs - and of course her ex boyfriend Dean - that she was as smart as Gwyneth, Sandy and all the young people of the town who had gotten a University degree. But... could she?
That same night, she as well as Kay got a job. They both would start the next morning.
Kay sat down to study a little before going to sleep.
In the morning, Kay had her breakfast at the terrace. tomó su desayuno en la terraza. It was a very nice day, although a bit cold.
Meanwhile, Shantel had a little hydrotherapy session to fight the stress of the first day of work.
Now she was ready to go to work. It was her first day as a paper girl. Well, what she really wanted was to be a journalist, a star anchorwoman of a TV news program to be exact, but - apparently, it was going to be a long road...
