The time came to start the ceremony, the bride and groom asked the guests to take their seats.
Then they pronnounced their wedding votes.
They exchanged rings in front of a thrilled family.
And sealed their union with a kiss.
The whole family applauded with emotion. William's grandfather Simon is so happy. Davy, his father, couldn't contain his tears. Great-granpa also shed a few. Tanya was beside herself with happiness - at last William had decided to give up his bachelorhood!
It was evident that he and Tera were very much in love. They will undoubtedly be one of the happiest marriages, among the many that have taken place in Hidden Springs.
It's cake time!
At that exact moment, great-grandma Kim arrived.
Then, among the assistents' applause, the newly weds proceeded to cut the cake.
While dinner is served, William's eternally single aunt Minzi entertains herself talking with the barman.
Tera shared a table with three generations of gentlemen: the great-grandpa, Farid Kamel; the father, Davy Cho; and the son, William. Only the grandfather, Karim, is missing. He couldn't attend because he was on an artistic tour in France, exhibiting his paintings.
Minzi couldn't resist and asked Kim for an autograph. She's one of her biggest fans, she had read all of her books and articles about her adventures as a tomb raider.
After dinner, great-grandma was able at last to congratulate William.
"Congratulations, honey, I wish the best for you and your gorgeous wife".
"Thanks, Grams".
"I brought you a present. I bought it during my most recent trip. I hope you guys like it".
"Why, thank you so much, Grams".
Then, Kim apologized on behalf of her son Karim. William told her not to worry. He knew that a painter as famous as his grandfather would have important things to attend to.
Like everytime they met each other, Davy couldn't miss the opportuniy to tease his sister.
"What about you, Minz? When will you get married?"
"Hmm, let's see, how about... never?"
"Oh, Minz. I see you'll never change!"
"That's correct".
Tera went outside for a moment to have a drink and a break. It had been an intense day. The wedding had started at 10 am, it was already 10 pm and nobody would leave! The party was a success for sure.
Great-grandpa started giving William advice on marriage and family. Typical gramps".
Tanya and Davy were happy for William, but they wouldn't be completely at ease until Michelle, their younger daughter would settle down. Although, for now, it was enough to have Willy the "uncatchable"
married.
