Gwyneth Improves her Skills

April 13, 2013

Gwyneth improved her Inventing skill level to 6. She needed more and more scrap and had learned to detonate objects such as trash piles, furniture and appliances to get additional scrap.

Detonate isn't allowed to everyone, only for adults. The Fire Chief reminded Gwyneth that she should practice Safe Detonation and keep the dangerous explosions far from other sims and their belongings.

Ouch! She hammered her fingers around 10 times this morning, which made her wonder if she could really be an inventor like grandpa Mortimer or uncle John. Perhaps she should limit herself to painting street art?

"The answer is no, cause a Goth never gives up and I won't be the exception!"

"Except, of course, when if I run out of scrap to continue with my invention".

In just a few hours, Gwyneth En sólo unas horas Gwyneth went from inventor to pipe repairwoman, but that helped her to improve her Handiness skill. Avoiding the cost of paying a repairman is enough incentive to make the repairings herself.

Once the chores are finished, she was ready to enjoy the weekend with Calvin.

That night there would be a party at Mahmoud's dorm.

"Another fraternity party, this time I won't miss it".

But the party wasn't very lively and ended early. Gwyneth didn't explain herself why everyone was so sleepy. Maybe it was the change of season. Maybe they had been too many parties for one week.

The next day, Spring began.

The day was sunny and beautiful.

But in the afternoon it started hailing and that ruined the day.

As the weather was so bad, Gwyneth sheltered in the cafeteria and stayed there practicing her drawing. Lately she had improved this skill a lot.

So much practicing earned her an extra credit which would como in handy at the end of the trimester.

That afternoon she met Richard Randall. A rather strange guy, abaut very handsome. Gwyneth really liked him, if it wasn't because she was in love with Calvin... Then she found out that Richard was in the Science career and was a wizard apprentice as well. Very interesting!

In the evening she had to go to the hospital for an allergy shot. Spring was definitely here!

Critic is also a part of parte of Gwyneth's career and she must practiceit from time to time, even with her own drawings. "Hmm... How is this supposed to be called?"

Congratulations! Gwyneth improved her Painting skill to Level 6. Just now she felt posessed by an attack of artistic brilliance.

But that brilliance did not last until the next morning. Gwyneth lost all her enthusiasm thanks to how boring Professors Lovelace's lecture was.

When she woke up, the lecture was about to end.
"I'm glad it's over, I need to get out of here".

On exit, she stopped by to greet The Llamas' team mascot.

And then she went to the beauty salon to help the tattoo artist to repair her chair.

And with that she improved her Handiness skill to Level 7. Now she could improve television sets and other objects, to make them work better.
Tje weather continued being crazy. One moment the stars were shinging, and the other it rained cats and dogs. Fortunately, Gwyneth was heading home to rest. It had been another long day at Uni.
