Alexandra and Cornell, Return to Hidden Springs

March 24, 2013

Alexandra returned from the University to reunite with her beloved Cornell, but her days in Monte Vista were numbered, cause soon they would go back to Hidden Springs to get married and settle down there.
Those last few days, Alexandra learned new recipes sent by her mother, and redecorated the house for other student friends that would soon occupy it.
Also, she took the opportunity to go out and buy some books, since reading is her hobby.
And she practiced her scientific skills. Needless to say Alexandra was like a child with a new toy now that she was a professional scientist. She spent most of the day analizing rocks, insects and stuff.
A total science enthusiast, like most of the Goths.
Finally, the night fell over Monte Vista...
These are the last hours in this wonderful city. Alexandra said goodbye from the terrace with great nostalgia. She wasn't sure if she'd come back one day.
When Cornell returned from work, they had farewell party just for two.
The next evening, they arrived to Hidden Springs, where, by the way, Winter was at its peak.
They installed at the house that they bought from uncle Amin and aunt Jane (Kamel), which was already furnished and decorated, plus it's really cozy.

Alexandra was so tired from the trip that she went to bed early. The whole night she dreamed of her new job at the Hidden Springs police department.
In the morning, Cornell was in charge of fixing breakfast.
And then they went to visit Alexandra´s family, which she was very eager to see. Later, they would visit Cornell's parents as well.
Her brother Jasper told her everything he had done since she left for the University.
Cornell tried to impress his future father-in-law, John Goth, which was a rather hard task cause John is a celebrity. But Cornell wasn't that bad, not to  mention that Dr. Goth knows him since he's a kid.
Meanwhile, Alexandra and her brother Dean, remembered the old times.
Finally, Cornell managed to befriend Dr. Goth. John had always liked Cornell, though he didn't think he had much in common with his daughter. Oh, well, the important thing here is that they get along wonderfully.
Later, Billy, the other brother of Alexandra arrived. Now the four siblings were reunited.
Cornell chatted with Jasper for a while.
And then, he and Alexandra enjoyed a delicious key lime pie made by Aimee, who, as we already know is a  5 Star Chef. Besides, the lemon pie is Alexandra's favorite food.
After the snack, Cornell chatted with his brother-in-law, Dean. They got along well since they both like music, especially the guitar, an instrument they know well how play.
Then came the most difficult part: to impress his mother-in-law, Aimee.
Talking to her about business and money worked! Aimee was delighted. Of course, the Langeraks would never be as rich as the Goths, but Cornell does have a future as an athlete and that definitely impressed Aimee. To think she almost got married to a Langerak, no less than Cornell's uncle Milton!
The conversation between her mother and Cornell lasted so long, that Alexandra had time to take a nap in the butler's bedroom, who by the way, hasn't been seen around here lately.
While Alexandra slept, Cornell played with Chilli, the Goth's cat.
Before leaving, Alexandra listened to some of his mother's recommendations, while Jasper made sure there weren't any monsters under the butler's bed.
Aimee said goodbye to Alexandra with an warm hug, promising she would take care of the wedding banquet.
Cornell and Alexandra returned to their house late at night. Naturally, they would go to visit his parents, Robert and Camille later. Luckily for Cornell, they live across the street.
