Sandy Moves to Sunlit Tides

Sandy Kamel's life has been rather lonely. She was an only daughter, she lived in the middle of parties, social events and politics fund raisers organized by her parents, but she still felt lonely in general.
As a teen she had  boyfriend who captured her heart: Simon Langerak, but their relationship faded cause she was older than him, they were somehow related, and because she had to leave for the University to pursue a Business career. When she returned to Hidden Springs, nothing was the same. In addition to the hostilities that had arisen between Simon's father and her own, Simon's world and hers, although similar in terms of wealth when and luxury, turned out to be completely different because of their age and interests. Sandy and Simon still feel for each other but, due to their differences, by mutual agreement they decided to break up. And so, with a broken heart, Sandy decided to leave Hidden Springs when the opportunity of a job for her appeared at  Sand, Sun and Surf Corp., a company from Sunlit Tides. And there went Sandy,  not knowing her life would take a 180 degree turn.

  The Arrival

Sandy arrived in Sunlit Tides on a Sunday morning. A new house was already waiting for her, cause  her fatehr Amin, mayor of Hidden Springs, got it for her thanks to his connections in the islands.

The first thing Sandy did was call the Sand, Sun and Surf Corp. headquarters to report to her new boss, Griffin Alto.

A view of Sandy's house at the Sunlit Tides beach.

Upon her arrival, she met some of her new neighbors and workmates who
came to her house to welcome her. They all had a great time playing videogames.

Night view of the area where Sandy's new residence is.

She moved there on her own, just like she did in her Hidden Springs apartment.

This is the nocturnal landscape that can be seen from Sandy's window.

And this is the first Sunlit Tides sunrise at the beach that Sandy saw.

It's her first day of work. She's having breakfast and preparing to go to the office.

"I'm ready. Sand, Sun and Surf Corp, here I come".

Sunlit Tides is beautiful, but Sandy can't help missing Hidden Springs.

Heading for work in the carpool. Her own car will arrive soon from Hidden Springs. Sandy's father is taking care of it, but even so, Sandy decidided to use the carpool for work.

The Sand, Sun and Surf Corp facilities.

Across from it is the Captain Jack's movie theater.

By the afternoon, Sandy's car arrived, the same one she used when she was at the University.

 Another sunset at the beach.

Sandy is about to enjoy the warm waters. This is her first outdoor activity since she arrived.

While she was swimming, she spoteed somthing in the distance, but -  coould that be a...?

Well, yes. A shark! Sandy got out of the water right awaty. End or her recreational activity.

The following night, at the Hotspot, Sandy met Kai Kahale and here is where her life made the first turn.

Kai, other than being very handsome, - at least Sandy thought so - was nice, chivalrous and akin to her, cause, just like her father, he's sociable, charismatic and loves sports.

As if that wasn't enough, Kai was not handsome and kind, but also important. Sandy just learned that he's the Governor! "Dad is not going to believe me.  He's going to love him, I know!"

On her way home, thinking of her new friend Kai Kahale.

The Sunlit Tides moon was out.

For the weekend, Kai invited Sandy to swim at the community swimming pool, they had fun competing to see who could hold their breath the longest underwater.

 Kai had to admit defeat.

 Sandy declared herself victorious.

It looks like Sandy not only won the holding breath contest, but also Kai's heart.

She cooked for him in her residence's garden.

Then they moved to Kai's mansion for a party in his swimming pool. Wow, the house is a wonder, Sandy is impressed.

There are other Kai's guests.

Romance between Kai and Sandy has officially started. Nothing formal yet, just glances, smiles, affectionate words, but it is going great so far.

"No way, I just got to Sunlit Tides and I'm in love already? What about my feelings for Simon?"

Sandy's feelings for Simon are still intact, but unfortunately, they're just a memory now.

On Sandy's second week in Sunlit Tides, she got a promotion to Chief of Staff. Things look good.

One more victory for Sandy: after her promotion, she and Kai went steady. It happened during the Eugene Carnegie's house party.

That night they officially started their relationship.

Watching the starts.

Sandy is happy but a little unsettled. She just realized that she doesn't know much about Kai. He told her he's single, no strings attached, she believes him but she can't stop making questions.

"Calm down, Sandy, you're the only woman in my life now, I swear".
Problem solved.

Sandy's love affair is full steam ahead, but she doesn't want to neglect her work. While Kai sleeps soundly in her bedroom, she wakes up early to do some extra work she has brought home. Maybe - just maybe - if she and Kai get engagd and marry, she won't  return to work at Sand, Surf and Co. She would become the Sunlit Tides first lady! - Okay, Sandy, quit dreaming, let things go slowly ths time.
