A new Life for Mona and Vincent

January 22, 2013

When Vincent got home after his escapade with Mona, Dahlia was waiting for him, she was furious.
"Can you tell me where you were all night?" she shouted. And one of their many arguments started, that was the daily routine in their failed marriage.

But when Dahlia returned from work she was a little calmer, so Vincent told her the truth about Mona, convinced her that their marriage didn't work anymore, and asked her for a divorce. Although grumpy, Dahlia accepted that Vincent was right and gave it to him. The truth was that she had also wanted it for a long time. Of course she set her conditions: she wanted the house, half of Vincent's incomes and the kids' custody, which, she said, belonged to her by right.

Vincent didn't have other choice but to agree to Dahlia's whims. Let's say that was the price for his freedom. The only thing that really hurt him was having to be separated from his children,Omar and Mandy. Especially since Dahlia has threatened to leave Hidden Springs. If so, it is likely he will not see his children again, or will not see them as often.

Vincent certainly keeps the right to see his children and spend time with them. But if Dahlia takes them away, he'd have to travel to see them.

The divorce came quickly. The day Vincent left the house he shared with Dahlia and the kids, his mother, the famous Myriam Royale sent a limousine to pick him up. It's a fancy car, but Vincent can't shake a sense of failure.

A small house will be his new home. After Dahlia took his home and half his money from him, this is the only thing Vincent can aspire to for now. His parents offered him their financial support , but Vince is already an adult and wants to earn his own money to support his expenses.

It's not going to be easy considering he still has two kids to provide for. Plus, he's going to get married soon and is planning to bring Mona and her daughter here.

He had to get to work immediately on his sculptures to start making some money. Thankfully these are selling well.

He had to work day and night to pay the rent of the house and other expenses. But little by little, his finances resurfaced.

For a few days he was just dedicated to work, and to decorate the house, he needed everything to be in order for Mona and little Sharon's arrival. It's not a very big house, but after a few changes and fixes it turned out not that bad.

During tjhose days Vincent's only companion was Hazel, his kitten.

Hazel and Vince had spent so much time together that they're already best friends!

Recently, Vincent learned to build ice sculptures, tnaks to that he improved his sculpting skill to Level 9.

All the sacrifices he had done for his career were worth it. Vincent has reached the top and is on his way to earn good money and the fame he well deserves. How? Well, producing a Master Piece, which is possible at this point. Master pieces of sculpture are highly valuable and sell for a good chunk of simoleons.

Vincent is almost at the top of his career. The decorations of the house is almost complete. Money is arriving more fluidly. It seems like a good moment to bring Mona to live with him.

Vincent knew Mona won't accept to live with him if it they were not married so he proposed to her. Mona couldn't help an cry of excitment.

And she immediately accepted his proposition. It's amazing that only a few days after her third failed marriage with Shark, she's getting engaged once again, and with whom she least imagined. This is like a dream, she hopes it will work this time.

It most likely will, cause Vincent is very different from Shark. Mona is sure she'll be happy now.

After their commitment of marriage, Vincent asked her to move in with him, and bring Sharon with her of course.

The next day, Mona and little Sharona arrived to their new home.

Vincent had a beautiful room for Sharona ready.
"We're going to be very happy here, sweetie, you'll see", Mona told her as she placed her in her new crib.

And then she went to the kitchen and got down to work. She's practically Mrs. Steele now, a new life begins for her and Vincent and it will undoubtedly be a better one, much better than the one they both had.
