Whille Sharona was still in her honeymoon... 

Her half-sister Wendy became a young adult.

Wendy's parents, Vincent and Mona, had three important events in just one week: Sharona's wedding and Wendy's birthday and graduation.

Hidden Springs High School graduation day, which Wendy attended with her parents.

 Sharona couldn't be there since she had gone on a honeymoon.

Wendy, now as a young adult, was  was ready to go to the University, but first she planned to make a long trip, possibly to China.

  At last the day came for one of the most awaited events in Hidden Springs: Sharon Racket and Mahmoud Yavari's wedding.

Time to start with the ceremony, the husband and wife to be are more than ready.

The vows and exchange of rings were two of the most exciting moments.

And of course, a kiss to seal the promise couldn't be missing.

Sharon and Mahmoud were now happily married.

Time to gather with their guests to cut the wedding cake.

The time came to cut the cake.

The first slice was for the bride.

Nicole made sure take a lot of pictures for her album of memories.

And then went for her cake too. In the background, Sharona's mother, Mona, talking to Caterina Vanderburg.

Cid and Vincent Steele, Sharona's stepfather, also came to the table.

 Cid went to sit down with Nicole to enjoy cake together and the banquet as well.

Cid and Nicole are inseparable, they're always together for anything, even to eat cake.

Meanwhile, Sharona seemed distracted, apparently Mahmoud disappeared from her eyes for a minute.

It turned out he was talking politics with his stepfather-in-law. His other father in law, Sharona's father Shark, couldn't attend the ceremony (or so he said).

In fact none of the Rackets attended, which didn't worry Sharona cause she grew up with Mona and Vincent, and her half-sister Wendy. The latter couldn't attend either cause she was busy doing the arrangements to attend the University as well.

After the banquet, the newly weds, the Yavaris prepared to dance together.

Mahmoud gallantly invited Sharona to dance with him.

And she of course accepted.

The party is over, the guests have begun to leave.  retirarse. Sharon and Mahmoud continued in their own world.

Everybody's gone, alone at last!

Mahmoud and Sharona looked so much in love, and to this date they are. Their marriage is one of the most solid and successful in Hidden Springs.

A Little More About Mona and Vincent

Memories of February 2, 2013

We'll leave Mona and Vincent for a while, but not without taking one more look at what is going on in their lives.

After their wedding, Mona and Vincent went to Shang Simla, China for their honeymoon.

Mona had a lot of fun posing for the tourists, which gave her the chance to meet new people and, at the same time, to take some photos herself. Fortunately Vincent isn't jealous like Shark. Mona feels more comfortable with him.

During their trip, besides romance, they found the time to visit some important places, like the Forbidden City, a few temples and ruins. Though didn't really show much interest in exploring tombs. Their interest was merely artistic, let's not forget Vincent is a sculptor and Mona a photographer.

At times, Mona was ecstatic looking at her wedding ring, she still can't believe that she's married again, but this time to the right man!

Mona had heard that Vincent had a bad temper, but he has never been bad to her. In fact, Vince has a great sense of humor and sometimes he's to much of a tease. Like when he gave her that scare while they were touring a mysterious temple.

"I'm sorry, darling, I was just joking", Vincent apologized. Mona has discovered that, in his roughness, Vincent can also be very tender. And Vincent has realized that this side of him has only manifested itself with Mona. Maybe because Dahlia never gave him the chance.

Anyway, Mona and Vincent have hit it off. They both have a temper, but a great sense of humor too. They're both romantic, passionate, tender, naughty, playful and, yes, very eccentric. Sometimes they come up with the craziest things like eating and chatting in the bathroom, lol. 

But in general, they have a great heart, and in spite of their ocuppations, they have demonstrated that they are very good parents. Especially Vincen, which is the one who stays at home, taking care of Sharona, who, by the way, loves Vincent to pieces. She rarely ever sees her biological father, Shark Racket. For his part, Vincent hasn't seen his children Omar and Mandy again, cause Dahlia took them to Bridgeport. He hopes to be able to travel there someday. Meanwhile, his life goes by peacefully with his new family.

Mona and Vincent's Wedding

Today is a very special day for the great-grandparents. It's their granddaughter Mona's wedding with the sculptor Vincent Steele. At the same time, Kim is celebrating that she has painted enough paintings to complete the Master of the Brush Challenge. 

Also, the City Council granted her the Author's Trophy of Honor in recognition for the sales of her book that  exceeded the 25,000 simoleons. It means that Kim Kamel, besides being a great painter, is also an accomplished writer.

 

By the way, she has just gotten a gift copy of her most recent novel Attack of the Cougars on the mail.

The Kamels' life is full of achievements but they've decided to take it easy. Farid has left his business in the hands of his children and grandchildren, and has retired to a small cabin near the mountains.

 

Now he and Kim will only dedicate themselves to enjoy the family life. Of course they have taken their loyal pet, Sultan, with them. Farid takes him for a walk every morning.

The morning before Mona's wedding wasn't the exception, although this time Farid and Sultan have to return home early, they have to prepare for the ceremony.

Vincent, for his part, has finished all the preparations and is heading home to finalize the party details.

Time flied and before they could realize it, Mona y Vincent found themselves in the middle of the ceremony, with all the family present, of course. Too bad Vincen'ts parents could not come from Starlight Shores due to their artistic occupations. You know famous people.

But Mona's relatives, on the other hand, were all present, from the ring exchange to the end of the party.

They're married now! Mona can hardly believe it.

A kiss of love is a must.

Karim applauds with emotion, he's happy this time, cause the groom is not Shark Racket. Now that's something to celebrate. Bella is doing all she can to call her ex husband's attention, but he's too focused on the ceremony.

Mona's oldest sister Anwar attended with his wife, Noelle. he's happy as well with Mona's new marriage, that's why he applauds his head off. It seems like this time the whole family approves of the broom.

There's Mona's grandpa, happy for his granddaughter. He didn't dislike Shark, but just like everybody else, he prefers Vincent and wishes the best for him and Mona.

Amin of course was at his sister's wedding too, but he spend the whole day talking about politics - for a change -. Fortunately, grandpa has an infinite patience and loves Amin as much as all his other grandchildren, so he listend to him until the end.

Then everybody had dinner, including Mona and Vincent, who, with all the hustle and bustle they are half starved.

Vincent was very attentive to all of Mona's family. At the next table was grandpa with his grandchildren Amin and Tanya.

To conclude with the magnificent party, they cut the classic wedding cake.

Vincent cut a piece for grandma, who has come to say goodbye cause she and granpa have to leave already. It's a bit late for them.

As they say goodbye, Grandma takes the opportunity to give Mona advice, not only about marriage but also about photography, which is what Mona is dedicated to and which Kim knows quite a bit about due to her many travels around the world. Davy Cho, Mona's half-sister Tanya's husband, has also already said goodbye.

One last dance before the party ends.

Mona and Vincent are the couple of the moment.

And the end of the party arrived, all the others are starting to leave. Like all the Kamel family's parties, this has been a great success. Surely no one will ever forget it.

When they were left alone, Mona was exhausted so she retired to sleep. Meanwhile, Vincent had to tend to little Sharon, give her a bottle and change her diapers, finally having to lull her back to sleep for quite a while. With this, Vincent has restarted his life as a dad.

The morning has come to Hidden Springs.

Alright, Sharon is sleeping, Vincent is drained and he and Mona have to leave soon for their honeymoon, so off to sleep too!
