"Well," Dylan said, standing up, "I'd like to join Logan for breakfast, but I can't wait any longer, I have to hurry".
"Going somewhere?", Karen asked.
"No, but Bjorn won't be long to call."
"Call, what for?"
"That's what I want to talk to you about, do you know if Log is awake yet?"
"I don't think so, it's Saturday, he must be still asleep after playing video games with Erin all night."
"Erin? Bjorn's daughter? Wow, I didn't see that coming," Dylan grinned.
"Don't smile like that, they're friends only, and underage… Just like Juliette and Robin when they met."
"Juliette and Robin. All roads lead to Rome, don't they?"
"Can you blame me?"
"I guess not," Dylan said, "I understand you're worried about them now, but let me remind you that Jul was already 18 when she met Rob."
"And she was only 19 when she had Rowan," Karen sentenced. "We don't want Logan and Erin to end up the same way."
"Come on, Karen, it's just video games they play."
"It was 'just video games' for Dustin and Judith too, remember?"
"Yes, and soon they'll be happily married, as one day Robin and Juliette will be."
"You think so?"
"Sure, they will be."
"Well I would have preferred them all to wait, they're too young!" Karen replied as she gathered up the breakfast leftovers to put them away. "As for Juliette," she continued "Let's not forget that Robin has yet to ask his wife for a divorce."
"Yes, and I believe that's his next step."
"Frankly, I don't think she'll let him off that easy, and if she does there will still be legal formalities to go through, possibly a court trial and stuff."
"Or maybe not, let's not be pessimistic."
"Nor too optimistic. Personally, I prefer not to get my hopes up."
"Anyway, what's this you wanted to talk to me about?" Karen ended.
"Not here, I wouldn't want Logan to hear any of this yet," Dylan replied.
"Why? - Oh, no, Dyl, please tell me this isn't more bad news about the Cranes."
"This isn't about them directly."
"Well, I don't understand."
"Let's go to the studio, I'll explain it to you there."
