Juliette and Judith sat on one of the benches in the small park at the mall, setting Rowan aside in his stroller where they could keep an eye on him.
"So, you met Robin again."
"Yeah, I just saw him this morning, he went to my house, I mean, my lab, for the DNA sample thing."
"Right, and how was it?"
"The test went well, the rest... I'm still processing it."
"The rest? You mean you guys...?"
"No, no, of course not. But, we had a close call, it's not the first time. Every time I'm around him I find it harder to control myself."
"I can imagine it. And it saddens me you guys can't be together like you should."
"Well, he promised he would fix his situation, but I see that more and more far away and I'm starting to lose my mind. I am not myself when I am in front of him, as soon as I see him, all I want to do is hug him, kiss him, and... Sorry, I think I am talking too much."
"Oh, no, you can trust me, really, what are friends for?", Judith replied to the point.
"Thanks, but we didn't come here to talk about me, you had something to tell me, didn't you?"
"Yes."
"Well, go ahead then."
"Okay," Judith replied, and thought about it for a few seconds before going on.
