Judith asked Juliette's permission to hold Rowan again; she observed him once more carefully, and then....

"Yeah, I guess," Juliette replied coldly and losing her smile.

"It doesn't bother me, but... I'd rather you didn't do it so enthusiastically, or better you didn't do it at all," Juliette replied, pulling Rowan out of her arms once more.
Judith was silent for a few seconds, seemingly embarrassed. Then she let out a giggle.
"What is so funny?" Juliette asked, baffled.
