Kelly was the first to wake up; Dale woke up immediately after her. It's barely 5 am, but neither of them will be able to sleep any longer. Only three hours until grades arrive.

The kitchen is still empty, meaning no one else is up. 

Excellent, Dale will be able to prepare breakfast without a fuss.

And Kelly will be able to drink her coffee without having to see Riley's face.
