While Kelly and Riley argue upstairs, Dale and Sarah meet in the garage.

Sarah: Hey, Cho, how did your exams go?

Dale: Great, I passed everything, and so did Kelly.

Sarah: Really? Well, you should be happy then, and frankly you don't look so.

Dale: I am, but I'm worried about Kelly. She went into the kitchen right now to confront Riley. 

Sarah: You mean fight with her? 

Dale: Yeah. I asked her not to, but she wouldn't listen.

Sarah: But she didn't need to do that, Riley's already leaving, and for good. 

Dale: I know, and I'm glad about that. But in all honesty, I don't I think it's fair that you have to move in with her just for damage control.

Sarah: Oh, don't worry about that anymore. Riley's moving out, I'm staying.

Dale: Really? But I thought you said...

Sarah: Yeah, but me leaving with her wasn't going to fix anything, on the contrary, it will only make her feel supported in her whim. Besides, I'm tired of the drama, I want to finish my career in peace. 

Dale: So, this time you and Riley did break up.

Sarah: Well, the truth is we never got back together. And we won't, until she proves that she... Well, until she proves that she really wants to be with me and not with... someone else. 

Dale: Oh - I see. So then you'll stay with Kelly and me, I guess.

Sarah: Uh, that also remains to be seen.

Dale: Remains to be seen? Meaning?

Sarah: Meaning, if I stay here, Riley will come looking for me and there will be more fighting with your girl, and then it won't have been any use at all.

Dale: Oh, come on Sarah, Kelly and I can deal with Riley anytime; it's good enough for us that she doesn't live here. You don't have to stay out just because she's being annoying, so please consider staying. 

Dale: Sure, if you prefer to take some distance for a while, I understand, but you know you'll always have a place here.

Sarah: Thank you, Cho, I will think about it, and give you guys my resolution tomorrow.
