"So this is your lab", Robin exclaimed looking around.
"Yes. Not as modern and well-equipped as yours, I suppose."
"But it will work for what we came here to do. Now, stand still for a moment, this will be quick."
"Frankly, it'll be hard to keep still with you in front of me," Robin replied, gazing into her eyes.
"Rob... don't look at me like that, will you?"
"Don't look at you how?"
"Like that, there's something in your look, you know, I can't tell what it is, but…"
"Forget it, let's get started," Juliette said, stepping aside and pulling out a device unfamiliar to Robin. "Okay, I just have to press this button and this one…" she muttered.
To Robin the artifact seemed somewhat rudimentary, but he trusted Juliette completely; plus, he was relieved that she had changed the subject, so he kept quiet and let her proceed.
