Soon after, Dale comes out of his room and meets Sarah in the kitchen.
Dale: Hey, what's up?
Sarah: Nothing, everything's just the same.
Dale: You mean, everything's fine with Riley now?
Sarah: If you want to look at it that way.
Dale: So, did last night's discussion end well?
Sarah: For me it didn't exactly end well, I had to agree to Riley's conditions in order for her to agree to mine.
Dale: What conditions are those?
Sarah: Well, she'll move out of the dorm and leave you alone for good if I move with her.
Dale: And is that what you want?
Sarah: Of course not. I like it here and moving out sucks. But it's the best for everyone, especially for you and me, since unfortunately our girlfriends are troublemakers.
Dale: Well, Riley is a troublemaker, Kelly is not, Kelly is just....
Sarah: Impulsive, selfish, capricious, a diva.... Do you want me to go on? Neither she nor Riley know how to live without creating drama. If we separate them, we can both live in peace. You know what they say: divide and conquer.
Dale: I have to disagree, Riley is the one who caused the problem here, not Kelly.
Dale: And you can't put them both in the same bag, because they are not the same.
Sarah: I didn't say they're the same, just that they're both conflictive that's all.
Dale: Maybe, but Kelly wouldn't hurt me. Riley isn't good for you; she's just manipulating you. Last time I checked you were the one setting the conditions, now she's setting conditions for you. Seriously, Sarah, think it through and consider staying.
Sarah: I can't, I made a deal with her. It's the only way to end this conflict. The important thing is to get her out of here, then we'll see.
Sarah: If Riley shows even the slightest sign that he's not going to honor our deal, I'll be right back. Okay?
Dale: (Picking up his book and opening it) Okay.
That's the end of the conversation. Dale isn't upset with Sarah; he just doesn't want to push her anymore. In fact, it's good news that Riley is finally leaving, too bad Sarah has to leave too. Look who ended up sacrificing herself for the 'greater good'.
Sarah: I know you may not agree with my decision, but deep down you know it's for the best.
Dale: It's not the best for you, but I understand, Riley is the girl you love, I can't do anything about that.
Sarah: That's very true.
Dale: (Sighs) Ok, then good luck, Sarah.
Sarah: Same to you, Cho.
