To kill time, Kelly goes out on the terrace to smoke, she uses that moment to think about what she's going to say to Dale. No matter what Terry advised him on that call, her verdict is the same: first, no way she's going to Lucky Palms; second, Riley has to leave at the end of this trimester, which is basically tomorrow. 

While Kelly is smoking and thinking, an argument breaks out inside between Riley and Sarah. Kelly doesn't know why, but she suspects the reason for the argument has to do with Dale.

Dale continues to study as if it's nothing. You can tell he doesn't want to intervene, you know, because of what Sarah always tells him: that it's none of his business.

Kelly can't hear what the two girls are discussing, but she can tell Sarah is very upset.

Kelly: (To herself) Okay Sarah, get rid of that harpy while you still can.
