Kelly was so angry that she stopped looking for Dale, perhaps Amil's words had hit the nail on the head? As soon as she got back to the dorm she didn't talk to anyone, and went straight to sleep.

A few minutes later, Dale came in too, Riley was practicing guitar out there.

Dale: (Thinking): Who practices guitar in the snow? Yep, only Riley, the ice woman.

With a sigh, he parked the car and went into the house.

When he got to the bedroom, Kelly was already asleep, - or pretending to be - he was exhausted, so he crawled into bed, held her close to him and fell asleep as well. It had been a long day, full of mismatches, but at least he and Kelly were still together, and it felt so good to be by her side!
