The celebration was far from being over, the Shens just took a break to clean and tidy up a bit. Dylan wiped Rowan's high chair, which he had left all messed up.
Then he picked up the dishes and put them in the dishwasher so his daughter wouldn't have to work.
Dustin thought necessary to check on his sister. He felt a little guilty, after all it was him who had caused all this commotion by inviting Robin to the party.
"Excuse Logan, he's just an annoying teen. And... well, you know the Shens".
"Don't worry, I'm used to them".
"Sure you're okay?"
"I am, thank you".
Fortunately, the tension dissipated soon and everybody went back to the table to continue with the celebration. Dylan saw fit to give a speech in honor of little Rowan, calling him 'the youngest of the Shen legacy'. (Although Rowan really belonged to a certain other legacy).
"Well, Robin is about to arrive, what if we wait for him in the living room?" Dustin said, leaving the kitchen.
Juliette trembled inside, Robin will be here any minute to meet his son and the Shens. What will happen then? No idea, she just prayed her family would play nice with him.
