A Rejected Proposal

As it is Natalie's birthday, Phillip wanted to surprise her with and an engagement ring and a marriage proposal.

"Surprise, Nat. Want to be my wife?"

"What? Oh, no, Phillip..."

"I'm sorry but you're going too fast here".

Phillip didn't see that coming. Why would Natalie react that way? She apologized and explained to him what had happened.

It turns out Natalie had realized that who she really loved was Alexander. Alexander didn't know yet, but he would in due time. For now, he was there to celebrate with Natalie, not knowing what was going on. Mind you, it seemed strange to him that Phillip wasn't present at the celebration.

That evening, Natalie became and adult.

And she cleared up the doubts that clouded her heart. Goodbye to Natalie's dilemma! Now she only needed to know if Alexander still had feelings for her.

It was Doris' birthday too, cause she and Natalie are twins.

Alexander was with her as well to celebrate, just like Tim, who had come home from work tired and had got out of bed just to congratulate the twins.

Doris had just found out that Natalie and Phillip had broken up, and her hope shone once again. That news was the best birthday gift she could get. (Kind of selfish from her, but what could you expect from Malcom Landgraab's daughter?)
