Tony: What are you saying?
Mia: What you just heard. Sorry I didn't tell you from the beginning, I didn't want to scare you.
Tony: So you decided to lie to me.
Mia: Tony, I'm not Kalamainu, okay?
Tony: H-how do you know about her?
Mia: We mermaids have ways to communicate through distance. She told me everything herself.
Tony: Did she? Well, at least she was honest with me, she told me who she was before I could even think of marrying her. You could've told me too when I proposed to you, but you just chose not to.
The arguments continued for weeks, until finally...
Mia: I know what's happening here, this is not about me being a mermaid, it's just you don't trust me anymore, do you?
Tony: Right. I don't hate you, Mia, in fact I still love you, I just can't go through all this again. I'm sorry.
Mia: I love you to, and I understand you. I won't argue anymore.
That was it. Mia packed her stuff and left the Langerak's house. A few days after, the signed a divorce by mutual agreement. They had been married for just a month.
That was the end of the fairy tell with beautiful Mia. Tony was devastated; his children Daniel and Jessica sighed breathed with relief.
