A Formal Committment

April 22, 2013

The next day, Calvin started to look for a job. Just as he wanted it, he found one in the Politics career. He had to start from the bottom, but due to his natural skills, he wouldn't have any problems with ascending.

Gwyneth was late for work, she had to run, and it was the first day only!

While the moment comes to turn into a great politician, Calvin stayed home, taking care of some house chores like doing the laundry for instance.

When Gwyneth returned from work, she and Calvin went to visit one of the places where they might celebrate their wedding. Two had been recommended to them, and this was the first one.

It wasn't bad, but Gwyneth wanted something less solemn. Maybe if they added white flowers? Anyway, she was an Art Critic, so Calvin trusted her completely at the hour of making a choice.

He thought anywhere would be fine. As long as he could marry his beloved bride ASAP, the rest was secondary.

Just in case, they took a selfie at the venue.

One more for the memory.

Calvin took the romantic moment to surprise Gywneth with his marriage proposal and a diamond engagement ring. "Say, Gwyn. Would you marry me?"

The answer was obvious.

That was the last detail. Calvin and Gwyneth were formally engaged. Now, to continue with the preparations.

The next morning it rained very hard in Hidden Springs.

Fortunately, by noon, the rain stopped, the sun came out and also the rainbow.

By the way, it was Calvin's first day of work.

When he got out he was very stressed, but happy to be able to go home.

Gwyneth had made some delicious burgers for dinner.

Then they went out to visit the other chapel they had been recommended. This was to Gwyneth's liking, for being small and simple. Besides, the decorations were a bit more cheerful.

They both decided their wedding would take place there.

The venue was so nice that they wanted to spend a little more time there. Calvin sat and enjoyed the evening while made some of her sketches.

The way back home was a bit long, since the chapel was at the other end of the city, but they were satisfied with their choice. Now all that was missing were the costumes and invitations for the big day.
