Bit by bit, it finally stopped raining in Hidden Springs, at least for the moment.
The time has come. The bride leaves for the venue where the ceremony as well as the party will take place.
Calvin is more than ready too.
They got in the car and headed for the chapel.
Gwyneth is a modern woman, so she insisted in driving the car. Calvin did not agree with it, but whatever, the venue is just a block away.
The bride, entering the ballroom.
Almost all the guests had arrived. In a few minutes more the ceremony would be starting.
To kill time and his nervousness, Gan, Gwyneth's father, decided to read a book.
Among the first to arrive were grandpa Mortimer Goth and his grandson Dean, who traveled all the way from Bridgeport to be present at his cousin's wedding.
Of course Gwyneth's mother Elisa, was there too.
As well as Kay, Gwyneth's only sister, who would attend college soon too, cause she was about to become a young adult.
Another of the guests was Cornell Langerak, who recently returned from his honeymoon. His wife, Alexandra would arrive a little later for work reasons.
The seat next to Dean was empty. His beloved ex-girlfriend Shantel was in the guests list but didn't attend. She hadn't been at Cornell and Alexandra's wedding either. It was obvious she no longer wanted to have anything to do with the Goths. Dean would have to continue alone.
The bride and groom waited patiently until everybody occupied their seats.
There, everybody is ready. The ceremony may start.
Wedding bells tolled, the bride and groom exchanged ring.
They're together forever now.
The newly weds only had eyes for each other. Elisa was so happy, Kay even sobbed with emotion. Gan felt a bit sad to have to say goodbye to one of his daughters. Only yesterday they were little girls!
The time came to cut the cake.
Oh no, it's starting to rain again. Mortimer wished he had brought his Climatron Control Unit to change the weather".
Fortunately Gwyneth was already under cover, enjoying cake in her parents' company.
Even with the rain, although late, Alexandra showed up. She had been busy with one of her Private Investigator cases.
Mayra Goth, Gwyneth's grandma arrived as well. She had work issues too. The great-grandparents Farid and Kim didn't attend this time due to bad weather, plus great-grandma had a cold.
The newly weds danced together all night. Bit by bit, the ballroom started to empty, but they didn't even notice.
Past 2 am all the guests had left.
It was time for the just married couple to go home too, but they were still above the clouds.
For Gywneth it was an unforgettable night and one of the best of her life.
Arriving home at dawn in the middle of a great downpour, but very happy!
The Dippersons found their mailbox full of greetings and presents. They'd see everything later. In a few hours they should start their trip to their honeymoon. Their new married life had just started.
